I know it's hard to tell how mixed up you feel
Hoping what you need is behind every door
Each time you get hurt, I don't want you to change
Because everyone has hopes, you're human after all

There's an episode of Buffy where zombies rise. It includes a dead animal that buffy's mum had buried and I ALWAYS get the cat came back stuck in my head at that point. Grin

Also missing the point of this thread, but I once had to spend a whole term writing poetry.

I am a misery poet and I found myself unable to write poetry while happy. Nothing helped until I discovered Wendy Cope. And this thread made me think of this poem:

The Errant 'Y's were a rubbish band, they did covers of lousy, cheesy tunes.
They were always played in a constant loop in the lifts at Uni. A bit like the endless xmas tunes in shops.
