I read last night that they variously are a man with a vagina, have serious mental health issues, a history of being abused and their daughter is MtF. A goady fantasist warms the heart, no?

Jesus, when I was at school (and all eager, shiny) I was composing poetry and sending it into Spare Rib (it was rubbish so never published but at least it was a hobby).

Plagiarism is not an offence as such, but in this case, it's rather bad manners and distasteful. I expect the OP didn't expect anyone to recognise the song. Too bad. I work as a writer and creative and I always find it somewhat lazy if one cannot take the time to articulate thoughts, however badly written, your own words have more power than those borrowed from others.

Yes indeed, I think most people remember what happened and yes indeed Sophie died at the hands of a group of males, proving indeed that male violence is quite an issue. I've been in the goth scene for over 30 years and in all that time most of the people I've known who've been beaten up for looking different have been attacked by males, not very many by female people at all.

As I said maybe the OP needs to use their own words rather than appropriate those of others.
