FloralBunting

That is a stunning post. Please don't stop, now you've started.

FeckTheMagicDragon

You too. It's so important to have more voices. It just snowballs, with more lurkers being given the courage to post. And talk in real life.

thebewderness

I have little doubt that you are being targetted. Your posts are irrefutably logical. And very persuasive. Do your damnedest to remain.

FeckTheMagicDragon · 17/06/2018 01:24

I don’t often post, but am an avid lurker. I started this peak trans journey with some one complaining about the pink pussy hats on that fabulously female women’s march excluding and not ‘centering’ trans poppets. My initial reaction was raised eyebrows and ‘it’s really not about you - but come join in. Wear a pink willy hat if pussys don’t suit’. The posts and posters here and on th GC sub Reddit have informed and helped me see what is actually happens. I know two lovely transpeople and one complete wanker of a transperson who I unfortunalty have to work with. I’m British but in the US. Please keep up the good fight. I’m slowly getting braver, and it’s down to you guys.

I'm still here. Posting late, it's Sunday No emails.

R0wantrees · 16/06/2018 23:59

Pratchet There's no reason for me to be banned. It was strange though the 'glitches' with my messages and reports last week. I know a few others reported issues. I've been reassured by MN that nothing untoward but still not sure if resolved.

Sorry I wasn't clear. We are told that everyone has a gender identity. If you say you do not I guess the gender police assign one to you.

I did tell one of the mods that I felt I was being targeted. They told me they were sorry I felt that way. I will get another strike if I tell you what I thought of that response.

Whatever email you are signed up to with Mumsnet is where you get the notice of deletion. If you have email notifications turned off you have to check your inbox on My Mumsnet.

Late to check in (not for the first time!)

@BettyDuMonde many Flowers & thank you for such an important statement about CRUK.

Can I check with you that you got my DM yesterday please? I have had some 'glitches' with my messages over the last 10 days. (no need to reply to the message, just wanted to confirm it had got through)

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/06/2018 23:22

thebewilderness please please complain to MNHQ if you think you are being targetted.

RubyShooFan · 16/06/2018 23:17

We all have one what? Delusional disorder? Gender identity?

The only thing we all have is a unique personality!

RubyShooFan · 16/06/2018 23:16

How do you know if you’ve got a strike? I’ve had no emails and no idea until recently that you weren’t told if you’d been deleted?

By checking back I know I’ve had at least two deletions for my ‘this is child abuse stance’.

thebewilderness · 16/06/2018 23:11

I just got my second strike for comparing gender identity to other delusional disorders, on the thread where the usual people are claiming that we all have one whether we admit it or not.
If we all lurk for fear of being targeted who will talk?

Thankyou for sharing your story Flowers

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 16/06/2018 23:03

FloralBunting, please keep posting. We need your voice. Thanks for that Star comment.

RubyShooFan · 16/06/2018 22:54

BrewCake floral for you and your daughter

thebewilderness · 16/06/2018 22:51

I messaged MNHQ last night about the proscription of the term that most transgender persons use to introduce themselves here, and is in common usage all over the interwebs.

thebewilderness · 16/06/2018 22:49

You bring tears to my eye, FloralBunting. I would hug you and your daughter both if I could.

LangCleg · 16/06/2018 22:44

Flowers from me too, Floral. I don't know if you have seen this, but there is a forum for gender critical parents of ROGD children. I'm not a member myself but I know people who speak well of it. You can find it here: gendercriticalresources.com/Support/

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/06/2018 22:43

I know ther are other mothers here with similar experiences to yours floral. I'm pretty certain they have a board here. Hopefully someone will provide you with a link.

The tide is turning.

Floral Thanks

I hope you find you are able to share your story more and more. The tide is turning. You are not alone.

Mogleflop · 16/06/2018 22:22

Thanks floral

There must be so many parents who are terrified by all this bullshit.

It makes it all the more obvious why TRAs want to take Mumsnet down.
