GC Forums or forum builders

Does anyone know of any GC forums or someone who could build one? I would more than happily contribute in any way I could including financial. Happy to have DM's if people don't want to post in public.

Facebook is no good as I don't have and don't want a FB account.

Please DM me if you want the details but please, please, don't send me any personal details to 'prove' you are genuine. The forum is nothing to do with me, I'm just a member and a person sharing the details how to join. Receiving personal info is making me feel uncomfortable.

If you are joining reddit the first thing you want to do is unsubscribe from all the default subs. They are male-dominated cesspools full of trolls and scammers.

Are female friendly subs (the GC sub has links to others), although the first is very quiet.

After that subs that specific to an interest / TV show / etc are generally safe as are town/state/country specific ones.

Political and religious subs are generally bad. Any LGBT subs are all trans dominated (with the exception of the one I mentioned above).

If you mean the thread on GenderCritical I did see it and I wish I hadn't. It puts me off going in GC tbh. It definitely puts me off reddit. I will check in again a few more times but I'm really not in to being on a site that allows porn subreddits (?) like that.

I have joined reddit and a forum there but I'm confused about how it works and put off by all the porn on reddit.

The porn is awful isn't it? Have you seen the recent thread about it? I really don't want to look at those links/subs. Depressing as all hell.

I have an IT background though more of change management and gatekeeping - working on my tech startup to help victims of violence - so happy to assist with any review and threat analysis. Long time since I coded but I can still follow the logic!!

@haXXor it's always good to get a second pair of eyes on things, my coding isn't the best but I have won a few hacking challenges in my time :). It does seem to have taken a different turn by people going to Reddit though

So, there's no way of seeing if you have a message without actually clicking on the new"my mumsnet" icon. That's a bit rubbish isn't it?

I know I should post in site stuff, but just mentioning it in case people assume they haven't had a DM as nothing to see!

I do stress, the forum has nothing whatsoever to do with me. I was contacted by the admin on the strength of this thread. I have no problems with it from what I've seen today. The only info you give is an email address.

The person who DM'd me is a MN poster. The forum is invitation only and if you look at it without being logged in you can't read any posts, it is totally private. It it looking to expand idea's but wants members to suggest things to improve it.

I have seen the name of the person who messaged me and have no reason to suspect them at all. The forum appears to be relatively new but looks to be user driven and open to suggestions and idea's. In short, it looks legit to me and I joined today.
