Another lib dem criticising people for dead naming Huntley.
I notice that XYR also claims to be lib dem.

Looks like all the TRAs involved have locked down their tweets this morning. Weird huh?

MillyTheKid · 11/06/2018 09:33

My immediate thought on that screenshot is that it is a montage. Taking a quick look at the content of the account mentioned there are any number of reasons why it could have been banned. All you have to do is take a breaking the rules grab (which doesn't say what you've done) put it with the appropriate message and there you go. I'll wait and see. Not going to take this as gospel based on someone's Twitter claim.

There is the woman herself saying that her account was restricted for the deadnaming.

Why are you so very unwilling to acknowledge this, Milly?

EmpressOfSpartacus · 11/06/2018 09:22

This is the screenshot I took.

I don't JH-B would report on something with no evidence

OrchidInTheSun · 11/06/2018 09:20

The person who has now protected their tweets posted screenshots of the posts they'd reported and the bans from twitter.

MillyTheKid · 11/06/2018 09:18

So was there evidence or just someone saying 'Yes, I got banned for it'? What makes me sceptical is that it's perfect let's create a Twitter storm material and, as I mentioned before, I haven't seen any coverage by any half decent news organisation.

LangCleg · 11/06/2018 09:16

The account that did the reporting told another account that it would be reported for "deadnaming" Huntley. The same account then posted a screenshot that the report (for the same account it had said it had reported) had been upheld by Twitter.

OrchidInTheSun · 11/06/2018 09:02

There were links on the thread I linked to but the person who did all the reporting has protected their tweets. So I guess no screenshots but I saw the tweets. Someone will have taken some though

MillyTheKid · 11/06/2018 09:00

There are screenshots Milly

Got a link? Curious to see them.

Powergower · 11/06/2018 08:54

Can some explain whats going on?

OrchidInTheSun · 11/06/2018 08:52

There are screenshots Milly

MillyTheKid · 11/06/2018 08:50

I'm not sure if I believe this Huntley 'deadnaming' story. If Twitter were taking action about it wouldn't it be all over the right wing media by now?
