Dame Stephanie Shirley - She was on the Kinder Transport, started her own (mostly) women only software company in the 60's whilst caring for her profoundly autistic son, sold up in the 80s and became a millionaire (but did profit share with her employees). Has given away £68 million of her fortune so far to good causes. Had to call herself Steve to get traction while her business started up (of course).

Agrees with all the exhausted women - what a week.

Have a large glass of Wine even though it's before 6.00 pm! Sinks into a chair and listens to the sound of women talking.

I don't know if I just notice them more, but my perception is that there are more women crystallographers than in other similarly computational science fields - part of the legacy of Dorothy Hodgkin perhaps (definitely, in this instance - and I think may have influenced my PhD choice and subsequent related career too).
