Where do we draw the trans line....?

Really interesting reading all the Daily Mail comments on latest Man Friday article.... most seemed quite happy with the idea of transsexuals using women's facilities, but no transwomen with dangly bits.

This used to be my position - and may still be so... but I am really concerned the more I read about certain transsexuals (the previously macho late-transitioning type).... those with rampant AGP which leads them to fetishise women's bodies and being in women's spaces in a very mansplainy way.... I feel very squeamish about sharing space with them.... and was deeply shocked by learning that some comb bins for used tampons and pads and wear them to "feel more like a woman" and then celebrate and share this online with other fetishists.....

My suspicion is that for the sake of what one might see as the transsexuals we have long shared space with, out of courtesy and respect, that yes it is okay for them to be in some women's spaces .... But my concern is that with TRAs being so active and the transgender movement steamrollering ahead, that more of the aggressive AGP type are going to feel liberated to come out of the closet and into our spaces....and the balance will shift

I know this is just academic - given that focussing on No Self-Id is our priority - but would be very interested in hearing what other's think as I try to clarify my own position

Please refrain from calling me a TIM @spontaneousgiventime

You don't give a through to the abuse we go through, I've been pushed, kicked, attacked in the street by angry men telling me to suck them and called offensive words like T.I.M I've been threatened, intimidated all for walking down the street

What you are doing is just as bad

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:18

@LangCleg usernames I am glad you brought this up, the theme on MN is that users either take on other people's usernames or use common words to hide their online trolling because I believe they live in fear so are more privacy driven

That is why you chose your username becauae MN users stir hatred towards others and are scared so they hide behind random usernames every single time

spontaneousgiventime · 04/06/2018 16:18

J4nice If you spared a single second to think about biological women and what many go through, THEN you would really understand abuse. So forgive me if I take your claims of abuse due to me calling you a TIM with a rather large pinch of salt.

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:15

@spontaneousgiventime I am not interested in seeing the browsing habits of feminists who abuse me like you have done

LangCleg · 04/06/2018 16:15

I've been misgendered on here when people have called me Jezza, please excuse me one minute while I flounce off and report it to Mumsnet.

I'm misgendering my own self with my username every time I post! I win, right?!

spontaneousgiventime · 04/06/2018 16:13

J4Nice You might like to look here for what some TIM's do.

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:12

@LangCleg again more insults because that's all feminists seem to like to do is insult those who have disabilities like myself

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:10

Reading over the posts and linking certain MN user to tweets and other topics it's clear their agender is to stir hate and to push legislation that will prevent woman like myself from using bathrooms so that we are in danger of abuse and being harmed because other hateful men like some of the posters on here threatened and harass woman like me

You are also lying to the public by saying that woman like me go through sanitary product bins as a fetish

You make this up to push your hate driven agenda and to cause distress and tension in public places

You have no valid fears because woman like me who have had surgery are of no risk in public places

Re: screaming/squealing andi pig

idiom
ˈɪdɪəm/Submit
noun
1.
a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g. over the moon, see the light ).

I hope this is of assistance to legal scholars who, despite their considerable academic expertise, nonetheless seem to lack some comprehension of conversational norms.

Yambabe · 04/06/2018 16:08

J4nice you might want to look up what an "idiom" is. Nobody called you a pig. Somebody used an idiom.

@LangCleg

rape centres occasionally need a certain amount of discretion based on appearance

I never said anything like this, you are lying

GibbertyFlibbert · 04/06/2018 16:04

No that is explanatory notes and has no legal standing

spontaneousgiventime · 04/06/2018 16:04

Oh Lordy lord. I laughed at all this yesterday, I'm off again. Dontcha just love these posts? Hats off to MNHQ for keeping a straight face.

Yambabe · 04/06/2018 16:04

FFS. So you're offended? Fine. Be offended. Nothing will happen. Or you could, you know, get over yourself.

To put it into context, I am fat. I know I'm fat, I've been fat for many years. Yet some people still seem to think that telling me I'm fat is some kind of a put-down or insult, and will send me racing away to rock and cry in a safe space. Nope. More "is that the best you can do?"

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:03

@ScarletBegonias more trolling I guess they let you off school because kids troll

LangCleg · 04/06/2018 16:02

rape centres occasionally need a certain amount of discretion based on appearance

Oh my good god. Have you any self awareness at all? Can you not see what a crass and offensive thing to say this is?

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:02

@Sarahconnor1 the harassing posts against me where deleted but i have pdf copies of those

The OP who referred to me as sounding like a PIG and that Its because I was rejected by woman

I have copies of this

You can only conclude that he is calling me a PIG because pigs make PIG sounds

I thought half term was last week?

J4nice · 04/06/2018 16:00

International law trumps national law 😁

Sarahconnor1 · 04/06/2018 16:00

It was your post that was deleted. Yours.

J4nice · 04/06/2018 15:59

Again national law which is in conflict so There for it does not apply under international law
