I don't know of any training camps, but that anti-fungal spray I used yesterday in the bathroom is a lethal weapon.

If you're familiar with cleaning you're ready for the revolution.

Frequency · 31/05/2018 15:31

Do the MN fanatics have any training groups? I'd be interested in sending DD to one of the laundry ones.

MistAmougstElephants · 31/05/2018 15:26

Sea monkeys would never share their poo that cuts out donors who have been radicalized by the angry sea monkeys.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 31/05/2018 04:44

do we know that the faecal donors have not been radicalised by angry sea monkeys

Watched a fascinating programme this evening recreating a Victorian pharmacy, and they mentioned that there was a never ending antimony pill which people used to take to purge themselves. They would swallow it and it emitted a tiny amount of the poison from the metal into them. They would have D & V etc and a good clear out then when the metal pill was expelled in faeces they would pick it out and wash it off, then other members of the family could use it. Apparently these sometimes lasted generations Shock

Lweji · 30/05/2018 14:57

I'm sticking with the idea of the pill form. La, la, la...

boatyardblues · 30/05/2018 13:54

I so wish I hadn’t clicked on this thread straight after lunch.

ScarletBegonias · 30/05/2018 13:29

I didn't realise it now came in pill or capsule form.

Are we sure that it does? The Wikipedia article says: "After being made into suspensions, the fecal material can be given up-to-down through nasogastric and nasoduodenal tubes, or back-up through a colonoscope or as a retention enema".

(I like the "up-to-down" and "back-up" descriptions. The kind of medical descriptions we can all understand!)

But perhaps we've pursued this far enough ...

birdsdestiny · 30/05/2018 13:11

MN is mighty. Any enemy agents who merely glance at this thread will run away screaming. Good work everyone.

IJustHadToNameChange · 30/05/2018 12:11

I have heard of faecal transplants by enema.

Patients who have had antibiotic treatment for clostridium difficile, effectively have all their gut flora wiped out causing problems with digestion and diarrhoea.

Stool samples from healthy donors (😱) are usedin enemas to repopulate the sick patients' guts.

I didn't realise it now came in pill or capsule form.

Much more civilised.

elephantoverthehill · 30/05/2018 10:58

I'm sure we could get all our DCs to set up a production line making the perfect slime to add to arsenal. at least there might be point to it.

RebelRogue · 30/05/2018 10:45

And I thought shit glitter pills were hard to swallow.Grin

RebelRogue · 30/05/2018 10:45

Fucking hell...

Lweji · 30/05/2018 10:29

It's in pill form.

DickTERFin · 30/05/2018 10:26

They do poo transplants

Lweji · 30/05/2018 09:11

And strictly, the bluebottle is not a jellyfish but a siphonophore. ❤❤❤❤

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned botox in the context of toxins and face.

Ereshkigal · 30/05/2018 09:07

Toilet kefir and kombucha Grin

HoneyDragon · 30/05/2018 08:38

I did not need to wake up up and read the rest of this thread. Certainly not before coffee.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 30/05/2018 06:56

So back to my jellyfish reference - there is a connection with terrorism - of the marine life kind.

The tentacles of the humble bluebottle are armed with batteries of powerful stinging cells called nematocysts, which inject potent venom into its prey (plankton, crustaceans & small fish mainly) - a novichok-like cocktail of muscle toxins and neurotoxins that can be powerfully destructive to small marine life.

(PS don't tell the Russians - these males scientists think the answer lies in chemistry but actually it already exists in nature).

And strictly, the bluebottle is not a jellyfish but a siphonophore.

IJustHadToNameChange · 30/05/2018 02:47

I'm wondering if @Purpliser has come back?

Does she know what she's started?

MistAmougstElephants · 30/05/2018 00:58
Grin
AngryAttackKittens · 30/05/2018 00:49

Well, I wish you hadn't made me think about it...

MistAmougstElephants · 30/05/2018 00:48

Would probiotics grown from a toilet brush that cleaned the runs cure constipation and vice versa? Or am I over thinking this? They do poo transplants now so theres my evidence it could work.

MN terrorists could go on dragons den with this.

AngryAttackKittens · 30/05/2018 00:41

Loo kombucha?

Twunk · 30/05/2018 00:28

Not sure it’s going to be much worse that normal kefir though....
