I don't know how many people realise that TransgenderTrend receives no public money, no funding other than voluntary contributions. What they have achieved under these conditions is nothing short of amazing. But in order for this to continue they need funds. Please consider donating to this worthwhile project to provide copies of their Schools Resource Packs to UK schools.

Yes I will do too.

Starkstaring · 01/06/2018 19:18

I have contacted Crowdfunder. They need to hear from people who support the project - cult tactics will win otherwise.

Ereshkigal · 01/06/2018 18:57

Those comments! What a fucking cult they are.

OldCrone · 01/06/2018 13:35

Tweet from TransgenderTrend

"We have been told by @crowdfunderuk that our our project has been suspended pending further investigation, due to an 'unprecedented number of complaints.' All complaints we have seen on Twitter are libelous. Please contact [email protected] to support us."

Done. Amazing how a bit of anger will drive my usually shrivelled charity-muscle.

BubbleBlowingBaby · 01/06/2018 12:55

Just looking at their donate section, looks easy enough! I saw a pair of shorts today that I liked, but didn't buy, so, will put the money saved to better use Smile

Due to an unprecedented number of complaints, Crowdfunder have decided to suspend Transgender Trends funding project, whilst they investigate it further

This means the Crowdfunder campaign will not be able to be viewed and no new pledges will be able to be made during this time.
Please email Crowdfunder with your support for the Transgender Trend campaign. Donations can also be made directly through their website. There is a donate button in the side bar of the site.

Where has it gone?

Ereshkigal · 28/05/2018 18:04

It looks like it's that awful Allsorts guidance they want circulated to schools.

LangCleg · 28/05/2018 16:35

Now donated twice.

And if the idiots succeed in getting the crowdfunder closed down, I'll go via their website with double the money.

AncientLights · 28/05/2018 16:15

I was going to give £20 till I saw above that the TRAs are trying to shut it down, so I gave £50 instead.

spontaneousgiventime · 28/05/2018 16:09

The Angels forum is also pushing to close down this Crowdfunder. Here

spontaneousgiventime · 28/05/2018 16:04

Ereshkigal It's a concerted 'report' effort to get it closed. They are all reporting, stating it goes against the EA. Hmm I've donated too, seeing them trying to close it down made me want them to reach their goal quicker, just in case.

catchyjem · 28/05/2018 15:57

Thanks for sharing, they'll get £10 from me

Ereshkigal · 28/05/2018 15:34

Spontaneous, that thought just made me stick 20 quid in. I hope that's a few printouts.

spontaneousgiventime · 28/05/2018 14:55

TRA are trying to get this shut down. They (unsurprisingly) want the Mermaids pack sent to schools, not TT.

neverfallingforitontwitter · 28/05/2018 10:57

Bump
Now sailing past £3000 and on the way to £4000 by end of today hopefully.
It's a good barometer of parental concerns...

colouringinagain · 27/05/2018 14:23

Even more important given the millions of pounds behind the transgender movement - see article above

Wow. They're a quarter of the way to their target already - £2568 - that's great.
