No. This is absolute rubbish. There are concerns about the impact on biological women if transwomen self ID. Not about men becoming transgender women. Can you see the difference? Because I am starting to despair that some people are either refusing to see the concerns or they are simply too stupid to understand.

I see people saying thay there's no danger of woman who become men and no disadvantage, woman who transition take testosterone and gain strength and muscles of a man and can get just as violent and aggressive as a man because that what hormones can do.

I think the reason for that is because it's not about muscle mass. Whilst men are, typically, going to have the physical advantage in any confrontation it's more about whether a man will actually do something to hurt a woman. And the majority of men are - like the majority of women - just average people getting by. What matters is the men who want to harm women. And because Autogynephiles make up a significant proportion of MtF trans and because Autogynephiles are frequently associated with violence, it's creates a pattern that concerns people.

There's also the issue that MtF trans erode women's rights and identity (quite deliberately in many cases). And whilst a woman coming into the men's will upset some men, for the most part she'll just get some jokes and the odd proposition. Equally gay men don't get hassle from FtM trans people trying to pressure them into sex. Whilst lesbians I know do get that from MtF trans quite a bit.

So it's not - mostly - about muscle mass. It's about what you do with it. And FtM trans people aren't, on the whole, hassling women so far as I've seen.

Hello huffsoy. Taking your little rant at face value (whilst biting the inside of my cheek trying not to laugh) can I point out -

Women are not safe from men, not even trans women (who are male, I'll not call them men out of respect). Some women may be nervous of trans women, if they are nervous around males. It's not personal, nor is it a crime, to be wary in the presence of a stranger.

You can change gender every hour on the hour if you fancy, I don't care. Gender is a social construct and a reflection of personality. Can't change sex though, not biologically.

Do you have any kids? Who is punishing them? Doubt very much it's feminists.

One of my best friends has a (FTM) trans son. I went to his wedding with his (MTF) trans wife last year. It was a fab day and they are a lovely couple. One of my good friends is a trans woman - she is one of the most sensible people I can discuss the current issues with TRAs with as she (mostly) agrees. She likes to be seen and accepted as a woman but is aware she's male. Her life has become more difficult in the last year or so, as she feels that strangers are more aware and less accepting of her than they used to be. I hate this, but I didn't cause it. My trans friends know I am gender-critical btw. None of them seem to have an issue with it, I've never been called a bigot or a transphobe by anyone in real life. Oddly I have by people online, go figure.

I'm menopausal, will never be on the rag again thankfully. I am a bit skanky though, haven't cleaned under the fridge for months.

I don't get fuzzy "remember my toddler" feels. When a toddler tantrums, they're a tiny child with very underdeveloped frontal lobes, no theory of mind and other people - they literally can't help it. They're usually also loving little children the rest of the time.
