There’s that quote (of someone else) doing the Facebook rounds at the moment about not using ‘mother’ because not all who get pregnant are women. Er yes they are - unless you’re a seahorse (in which case you don’t really get pregnant).

It's a shame dickwads are swamping the www with this shit. I've always got on with most ( 99.9% - there's always someone who doesn't like the look of you) lesbians just fine whether they're butch, femme or whatever. Including my best friend at uni years ago who was also instrumental in helping me to come out as mtf trans. A delightfully acid tongued mini butch with a huge quiff.
If a woman fancies a penis weilding trans then she simply isn't a lesbian. Maybe bi, pan or some other label, but not lesbian. At least that's how it's seemed to be for the last 25 years on the LGB scene...

One of the difficulties is that, as she says in the article, we have "the illusion of a voice". To those on the outside, it seems like there are still lesbian magazines, lesbian websites, lesbian social groups, lesbian club nights, organisations which defend our rights etc but, in reality, it's all been taken over by people who hate us and think homosexuality is morally wrong.

On another thread I was reading from 2014 someone linked an earlier Autostraddle article by the author. They have written hundreds of articles about "being a lesbian".

It seems to be that this person is defining lesbian sex as anything that isn't PIV,and where neither of the participants are gay men.Which covers quite a lot really...

Sounds like the writer hasn’t actually understood the definition of “lesbian”. As a lesbian woman, I don’t want to have sex with people with penises.

The article is ALL about pleasing the trans partner. Of course it is. It’s another example of women, lesbians in particular, being used solely to pleasure men.

This is the first time I've ever heard that lesbian sex could possibly result in one of the partners getting the other one pregnant.
