I'm ok with most of the terminology on here but this one has me beat.

Anyone care to help a fellow out?

I mean this in a kind way, is it possible the entitled, delusional thinking is part of the/a mental illness? Who would seriously think they can advise sexual assault victims to have therapy, then reconsider their sexual preference? In my opinion, Riley needs therapy for this suggestion alone, never mind all the other stuff. Sad really, go and get some help Riley.

MrGHardy · 10/05/2018 00:37

Riley Cock Dennis is my peaktrans.

AngryAttackKittens · 10/05/2018 00:29

And I see Bloomed got there first. Still want to know how someone poking your prostate makes your cock vanish.

AngryAttackKittens · 10/05/2018 00:28

Oh hey, relevant! Just saw this on Reddit, taken from an Autostraddle article.

When my prostate is stimulated this way, I don’t feel like I have a penis anymore.

How does that even work? I mean it "works" in that it's fucking nonsense, obviously, but like, in his head.

It does rather shed a light on why so many TIMs may be reluctant to undergo surgery though, doesn't it?

I assumed it was in case they changed their mind re. their sexual orientation at some stage, but, like most men, personal sexual satisfaction remains a priority and I guess retaining their tackle ensures that can continue, with or without a partner.

WidowWadman · 09/05/2018 22:29

I don't think I've seen anyone but terf "gender critical feminists" use this term ever.

LassWiADelicateAir · 09/05/2018 22:27

The article is for a niche audience- women who say they are lesbians but who would consider a trans woman who has not had genital surgery.

Whether you (general you) like it or not there are women who say they are lesbian but are up for that. I have no idea if such women are really heterosexual women trying to be cool or lesbians who are surprised to find themselves attracted to a trans woman.

Riley Dennis is a laughing stock. There is almost an industry devoted to making response videos telling Riley that- and a fair number are by trans people.

At one extreme there is Riley yelling it is transphobic to have phyisical sexual preferences (and almost nobody paying attention) At the other extreme- who knows ? There may well be lesbians who find that having got to know a trans woman they do want to have a physical relationship with them.

The article has no relevance to me or presumably the rest of you. I'm not sure why you (general you) would even come across it. Top tips for lesbian sex isn't exactly falling into my inbox as that is as irrelevant.

AncientLights · 09/05/2018 21:25

It must be really hard work being a transwoman lesbian by the sounds of it. I'm bloody exhausted after trying to wade through all that crazy.

Bloomed · 09/05/2018 21:03

Exactly. And there is a curious focus on only one party's possible dysphoria.

StarsAndWater · 09/05/2018 20:51

That article is fascinating Bloomed.
An entire article on how to have 'lesbian' sex and it only concentrates on one participant's pleasure -- that of the person with a penis. There's nothing about things you could do together or even the hint that sex might be a mutually pleasurable activity. Only one person's pleasure is thought of.
Once again, it seems to come down to a sense of entitlement and the assumption that sex is something a woman performs or let's happen. Very creepy.

Bloomed · 09/05/2018 16:27

Yes. Very disturbing.

Bowlofbabelfish · 09/05/2018 16:03

And again there’s no ire directed at MEN who won’t have sex with transwomen is there?

Or against trans women who won’t sleep with their peers? No it’s just women.

This entitlement to our bodies is terrifying.

Bloomed · 09/05/2018 14:51

A commenter points out that it reads like conversion therapy.

Juells · 09/05/2018 14:49

I couldn't read that after the first paragraph :(

xxmarksthespot · 09/05/2018 09:30

The "cotton ceiling" says that women have to give their bodies and spaces to any man who demands it. It is basic transactivism: women should have no boundaries and any of us that dissent should be hounded as "transphobes".

thebewilderness · 08/05/2018 21:23

The trans regretters get similar treatment to the radical feminists, and very much ostracised from people they thought were their friends. Very sad.

Remarkably similar to what happens to people who object to the new mixed sex everything in Canada.

Wanderabout · 08/05/2018 19:48

Agree. Their voices should be heard, especially on the right balance between affirmation and exploring what is right for a child who thinks they are trans.

chocolatesun · 08/05/2018 09:07

I find the idea of anyone being told who they should be sexually attracted to or who they should have sex with incredibly offensive.

LaSqrrl · 08/05/2018 09:03

Some rather common problems here and the maintenance basics here.

Factory-fitted, a lot less problems!

Kyanite · 08/05/2018 06:42

Lots of threads around of them not bothering to dilate and douche, and that being unpleasant.

IStillMissBlockbuster · 08/05/2018 06:24

I don't hear them complaining though. Whilst I have no doubt it is an inferior facsimile, they don't know what the real thing is like and they seem quite happy and complete afterwards, strangely.

Oh they do complain, but it gets deleted. I've seen screenshots of a Reddit thread of TIMs complaining about the painful and very unpleasant amount of dilating and douching they have to do to prevent it from healing. I don't know if anyone has a link to that.

LaSqrrl · 07/05/2018 21:51

Only just googled this site made by a regretter.

Curious to hear what the pro-trans commenters here have to say about regretters, particularly those post-surgery. Or will it be a case of No True Trans, in order to support the 'innate gender feels'?

AngryAttackKittens · 07/05/2018 21:12

Yeah, that. If someone is happy with their newly rearranged bits then everyone in trans spaces wants to hear about that, but if they're not happy they seem to just got a lot of "stop raining on my parade" and not a lot of support.
