I'd like to make clear that 'prick' is a non-gendered insult by the way.

Men are called 'twats', so clearly 'prick' is by no means a reference to anyone's genitals, real or imaginary.

Because that would be horrific transphobia.

Shon's six million posts ranting about Jenner being umm... a privileged white transperson (like shon? Confused ) were the ones quoted at me by twitters news thingy.

Imagine being so silenced that a major social media company uses your tweets to share news. Must be hard.

Just used my back-up account to look at those tweets and now I'm glad that eejit has blocked me. There's only so much my blood pressure can take. Won't be doing that again.

Okay so the organisers wanted a transwoman and not a transman, and you see this as prejudice against transwomen? I'm guessing if they'd wanted a transman, you'd be just as fuming?

Mumsnet did not set up that account, it was someone connected with Mermaids.

Mumsnet did, however, validate its aims by responding to them and saying they will look into whatever they posted claiming to be transphobic.

VaggieMight Nope, as I said above none of it exists anymore - the whole lot - DMs, tweets, followers list - has been deleted (I think someone shared a screenshot of the now-empty page on Twitter?)
