I couldn't be bothered to find out which bulb was not working in my car when the bulb fault light came on and I asked my partner to have a look and change it for me. I am more than capable of doing it myself Grin

Play if you know the game Smile

I'm a feminist but...

When finding out I was having a daughter, I was so excited about the frilly pretty pink stuff I could buy (she is now gender non-conforming by choice, which I think I prefer tbh). Also in this house we have mans jobs and womens jobs. I have only ever taken the bins out on 2 occasions in 5 years Blush

A lot of these really should be "I'm a feminist and........" smile

Thank you!! I was about to say I'm a feminist and ... I love make up and buying make up, it is my calm place applying lots of colours to my skin.

I am a feminist so I do the things I like (such as makeup) for me and don't worry about what men think of it.

I'm a feminist but...

spiders.

I'm a feminist but...

I often dress my son in blue and my daughter in pink Blush

I am a feminist but I really like glittery sparkly things....... and cute stationary,.....

Writersblock2 · 03/05/2018 08:00

I’m a feminist but...
...I have Botox. Shock

P.S I don’t like The Guilty Feminist either - I think it’s too libfem for my tastes.

MapleSap1 · 03/05/2018 07:23

I really do think men should offer me/other females the free seat on the tube not take it themselves

Why? This ones a wind up right? Hmm

Yep, Wolves, me as well

(Nearly typed 'Me too' but caught myself in time)

OutComeTheWolves · 03/05/2018 07:18

I'm a feminist but I'm really into clothes and makeup. After the feminism board, my 2nd most frequented topic is style and beauty.

QuentinSummers · 03/05/2018 07:08

I'm a feminist but

I still spend way too long every day obsessing about plucking my moustache hairs out in case anyone notices them Shock

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 03/05/2018 06:51

I'm a feminist but: when the young woman who runs the nearest feed store told me she was four months pregnant and couldn't lift heavy things any more, I decided I'd have to buy hay at the other feed store with the men who lift things. (I'm not a monster; I was very excited for her and I always helped lift stuff, but I nearly burst a gasket hauling the big bales of hay into the ute on my own).

DulcetMoans · 03/05/2018 06:32

I'm a feminist but...

I often struggle to explain what it means

rememberthetime · 02/05/2018 22:03

....

I take the car to Halfords so the "nice man" can check the oil, coolant and water levels. but it's a service and I pay for it from the money I earn (as a feminist).

....

I claimed to know nothing about the importance of a car service when it turned out I had forgotten it. I was let off by the "nice man" at the car servicing place.

....

I chose to stay home with my kids when they were young because it seemed easier than going to work every day.

boatyardblues · 02/05/2018 21:57

I have never mown a lawn (i have strimmed the edges)

Crumbliest - Is that a metaphor? 😂

DH mows the lawn and does the bins, but also irons and is much more of a clucky hen with the kids when they’re ill. OTOH I fixed the boiler during the cold snap. 💪 We’re sex stereotype fluid in this household.

I am a feminist but..

I have never been in my own loft.

I have never mown a lawn (i have strimmed the edges)

DH is Head of Bins and i am Head of Bathroom Cleaning. This works for us.

Italiangreyhound · 02/05/2018 21:45

Reaching for high stuff is a height thing!

Italiangreyhound · 02/05/2018 21:44

I'm a feminist but...

I knew the food bin needed emptying and I left it for dh!

MissStegosaurus · 02/05/2018 21:42

Im a feminist but dh does the bins and reaching for high up stuff so i don't have to get a chair to climb on.

DairyisClosed · 02/05/2018 21:42

! @cisters do you think v that x trick would work with laundry too?

Spudina · 02/05/2018 21:40

I can't operate a power tool. And have no interest in doing so. I have no problem in getting a man in to fix stuff.

MillicentF · 02/05/2018 21:40

Sorry OP-I don't mean I don't like you! Blush

tobee · 02/05/2018 21:39

I'm a feminist but I like to make my Dh get the drinks in too lazy to queue at bar.

RealityHasALiberalBias · 02/05/2018 21:37

I don’t shave my armpits but I just can’t leave my legs hairy in the summer (tried it one year but was so self conscious the whole time).
