DM has posted this - apparently the best way to “beat terfs” is to give DM money - seriously, what is their logic?!?

Can we please stop focussing on what some transwomen (esp. Danielle) look like?

What about at least making some effort to look feminine and minimise male/masculine physical traits?

I'm female and I don't do this Hmm

I'm as gender critical as they come, but this is a pretty unpleasant thread that seem to be pretty much taking the piss out of an individual.

0phelia · 01/05/2018 12:17

why do M2F transsexuals feel the need to have facial feminisation surgery

Some do, many don't.
Many say we can't actually tell just by looking who is a TIM or who is a woman...

0phelia · 01/05/2018 12:14

I think we can all agree that looking 'pretty' should not be a prerequisite to womanhood?

Being female is the only prerequisite to womanhood.

TrumpTrump · 01/05/2018 12:11

Apparently not having a beard makes one female now...

Danielle posted a few months ago that she can't take much hormones because of underlying health conditions. SHe said that she just takes a token amount to keep the terfs quiet...

fmsfms · 01/05/2018 11:43

I'd also add, if being a woman is as easy as putting on a dress and adopting a female name, then why do M2F transsexuals feel the need to have facial feminisation surgery. My understanding is this isn't cosmetic surgery eg lip-fillers, botox, but procedures designed to make their physical appearance/bone structures more feminine.

This to me is one of the flaws of the nonbinary, gender fluid identities - it's all very well dressing androgynously or like the opposite sex but there are still underlying physical traits eg height, body shape, skin, bone structure that identify you as male or female

Pratchet · 01/05/2018 11:41

Rejected by faintly? I believe they had to take out a restraining order. His life is out there in the public domain.

I think this person is a good example of how self gender expression "I'm a woman because I say I am" can lead to some strange places that don't involve all women shortlists, bathrooms or women refuges.

If we accept that Danielle is a "woman" what are the implications of that romantically/sexually for other people?

I presume an overwhelming majority of heterosexual men will not be attracted to "her" but there might be some homosexual men that are attracted to the masculine appearance despite the female clothing and female pronouns - does that make those homosexual identifying men now heterosexual because Danielle is a "woman"?

AncientLights · 01/05/2018 11:33

I've got a brilliant idea to stop TRAs: you lot can all give me money! That'll sort it.

UrsulaPandress · 01/05/2018 11:33

DM is now making changes to their appearance, actually, to present as less male. I still find DM hard to swallow though (no pun intended).

Danielle Muscato is clearly a troubled person.
An ordained minister who campaigns for atheism.
A diagnosed gender dysphoric whose gender identity (what they feel like) does not match their gender expression (what they look like).
Rejected by their family and society in general.
Inconsistent in their arguments. Activism by soundbite.

Danielle is formally diagnosed and I will refer to them as female for the benefit of their mental health if that is what she needs. I will not judge or make comments about how she looks because I'm a woman with thinning hair, chin bristles and stubbly legs and the fact I don't own a mascara does not define my womanhood.

I strongly object to Danielle taking space in a women's refuge but that is the choice of those running the refuge, not me. I would strongly object if Danielle was a medical worker and appeared to carry out an intimate procedure when I had requested a female nurse. I strongly object to women's rights being afforded to those who self-identify as women. In this case Danielle has been diagnosed with a mental health condition.

Can we please stop focussing on what some transwomen (esp. Danielle) look like? I think we can all agree that looking 'pretty' should not be a prerequisite to womanhood? In fact isn't half the problem that some men claim to be transwomen because they like 'pretty things' and making themselves look 'pretty'.

Oh my god that is fucking hilarious! Cheeky fucker indeed.

All these people seem to have Gofundme or Patreon accounts. Like Travis and his taxi fund.

Just....... Honestly. 😂

LaSqrrl · 01/05/2018 10:35

I share my 'favourite' tweet of DM's, from IWD 2017. It was still up last time I checked about six months ago.

And they say TRAs don't hate women!
We are clearly just making this stuff up!

I was going to ask fmsfms whether that BLM picture was DM before or after 'transition', but the tweet clarified it was after, and he was 'correctly gendered'.

LaSqrrl · 01/05/2018 10:30

fmsfms - save the picture to your computer. Below the comment box are three buttons to insert images.

DM can't get a job because errrmmm transphobia in wider society.

So DM has to beg on Twitter instead.

Should include a list of rates for specific things though. For transparency.

£5 - Tweet decrying women who talk about women's issues
£10 - Send messages to women on Twitter stating "suck my dick"
£20 - Dick pics sent to three female journalists of your choice
£50 - Punch a woman in the face because women are like Nazis

And of course DM can offer special deals for important occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and Bar Mitzvahs.

RiddleyW · 01/05/2018 09:50

I wonder how much it generates and what the tax treatment is.

Should usually be taxed as income - I suppose there might be an argument that it's a gift but unlikely in Danielle's case.

There have been some high profile cases in the US where cancer survivors or bereaved parents have been sent big tax bills after crowd funding.

Pratchet · 01/05/2018 09:43

Obviously I'm a #monster but the male who took up a female's space in a refuge is an angel

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/05/2018 09:42

This x 1000!

I'm stunned by the amount of outright begging that goes on on social media. I wonder how much it generates and what the tax treatment is.

SuburbanRhonda · 01/05/2018 09:39

FFS, get a job!

This x 100 🙄
