All the Mumsnet hate on Twitter. Have we friendzoned India's penetration?

It seems that India is a little obsessed and is even now actively encouraging brands to stop advertising with Mumsnet.
A picture of a 17 year old with a semi in a skirt will stop a baby formula brand wanting to be associated apparently Confused twitter.com/IndiaWilloughby/status/987348210858577921?s=20

Not just you, but don’t take that as any kind of reassurance...

RefuseToDenounceBiology · 22/04/2018 10:41

Maybe we should refer to any trans issues as Misogynae

Maybe it's just me - but that makes me think of some kind of fermented soya bean pessary..

I cant actually spell it.

Maybe we should refer to any trans issues as Misogynae. 🤔

Further to my 'spiteful' comment - MN has threads on all sorts of topics and provides support in every aspect of parenting from the trivial to the terrifying and overwhelming. It is a lifeline.

IW chose to go on CBB and deliberately went in to play the 'bad guy' at least that was the claim after eviction.
CBB was trying to achieve notoriety or validation or possibly some kind of career move and insodoing, pissed people off by over stepping the mark - bullying women in their 80s, physical dominance displays, trying to force people to mouth words they know are not true, insulting women as a group.

Of course people are going to talk about it. That is Big Brother for you.

IW i's not the first person to make a twat of themselves on CBB and won't be the last.

I'm sure IW could say the same about MN (and I include myself here) during and post CBB.

You've got to be kidding me.

IW was getting slated all over the internet and everywhere for that utterly appalling, bullying and deranged behaviour on CBB. Why pick on MN?

Ha ha Grin

Like a shoehorn but not actually useful...

I find IWs obsession with MN so bizarre and spiteful

I'm sure IW could say the same about MN (and I include myself here) during and post CBB. Loads of posts absolutely slating IW and a number of threads specifically and exclusively about IW. I don't think it's really that surprising that IW has such an issue with MN.

AngryAttackKittens · 22/04/2018 09:16

Like a shoe horn, but squishy.

AngryAttackKittens · 22/04/2018 09:16

Really didn't need that mental image!

RefuseToDenounceBiology · 22/04/2018 09:11

Though I suppose it may be useful to people who're on the fence to see just how low those determined to shoehorn penis into women's spaces at all costs will sink.
Yy very true.
It makes me think a new word 'penis-horning' should be coined to go with the gaslighting, sealioning and trolling..

Agreed, Datun. I stopped engaging with Rat for exactly that reason. Though I suppose it may be useful to people who're on the fence to see just how low those determined to shoehorn penis into women's spaces at all costs will sink.

thebewilderness · 21/04/2018 19:31

It is possible that IW behavior is a reminder that NPD is co-morbid with BID in 80% of cases.

spontaneousgiventime · 21/04/2018 18:43

I shouldn't laugh I know please don't tell me off but when you see posts like this on Twitter, what else can you do?

MushroomGravy · 21/04/2018 16:33

If my child was waving his erection around the girl's locker room he'd have a lot more to worry about than MN I can assure you.

Beyond11cisRetinol · 21/04/2018 15:18

I've already suggested that IW is a double agent assigned, as far back as when IW was in CBB! Grin

Surely no one could promote a cause this badly without being on the other side!

Trousersdontmakemeaman · 21/04/2018 15:07

Genuinely baffled. They are tweeting it to Julia Hartley-Brewer. I mean FFS.

RosenbergW · 21/04/2018 15:05

Another: Alison Woolbert was made Executive Director of the Transgender Human Rights Institute (US) "after her 1991 conviction for First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault. The victim was a 15-year-old relative. Woolbert was sentenced to six years for the aggravated assault for which she served four. Woolbert was 28 at the time of the offence."

The THRI rejected Alison's resignation after this came out.

The list could go on and on tbh so I'll stop now.

Rat have you ever approached a trans activist or organisation about their attitude towards sex and young people?

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 21/04/2018 14:56

Trousers

TBH I'm beginning to think India is a double agent

RefuseToDenounceBiology · 21/04/2018 14:34

Paris Lees promotes prostitution and Jane Fae is an advocate for kink, sexual 'freedoms'.

Basically gay/bi males with no idea of what it feels like to be female in a world of unwanted male sexual attention/imposition.

Maybe that is it - that they are so on side with the male pervs perspective that they even view female victims words and actions through that male perv filter.

India has just introduced Cow & Gate to Lila Perry

It is very funny.

RosenbergW · 21/04/2018 14:31

Janet Mock:

"I was 15 the first time I visited Merchant Street, what some would call “the stroll” for trans women involved in street-based sex work. At the time, I had just begun medically transitioning and it was where younger girls, like my friends and myself, would go to hang out, flirt and fool around with guys and socialize with older trans women, the legends of our community."

"These women were the first trans women I met, and I quickly correlated trans womanhood and sex work."

"These women taught me that nothing was wrong with me or my body and that if I wanted they would show me the way, and it was this underground railroad of resources created by low-income, marginalized women, that enabled me when I was 16 to jump in a car with my first regular and choose a pathway to my survival and liberation."

Who is sexualising kids again?

RosenbergW · 21/04/2018 14:27

Cross post, thinking alike.

RosenbergW · 21/04/2018 14:27

Another one.

But we're the ones being out of order.

And Shon Faye certainly has some dubious suggestions

In the UK the age of consent is 16. In The Sun newspaper they would get 16 year old girls to bare their breasts on page 3 and they would be discussed in detail.

Not wanting to get into an equality men-do-it so women-can-do-it-too thing but I was thinking this too.

And again we are talking about a political movement that loudly advocates for "sex positivity" and activity in some cases at young (much younger than Lila) ages (Jane Fae for example), where thirteen year old lesbians have been called transphobic for saying they would not want to experience penis (tumblr..).

Calling us pervs for noticing them.
