Well it's more than clear what the judge thinks of women then.

ArcheryAnnie · 19/04/2018 12:32

The judge's comments remind me of the definition of chutspah: someone who kills his parents and then throws himself on the mercy of the court because he is an orphan.

It's a fucking disgrace. This man should be in jail. This judge should be reprimanded and retired.

Kalikan · 19/04/2018 12:01

That's outrageous beyond words. The judiciary in this country are a joke.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 19/04/2018 10:14

That's awful.

Oh bloody hell. That made me cry. That poor young woman and her family. He should be in prison, that isn’t justice.

pitterpatterrain · 19/04/2018 09:32

Diddle- I honestly think it has always been around yet once you start noticing it, it suddenly jumps out everywhere

diddlemethis · 19/04/2018 09:29

So grim. What is going on? Has there always been this male entitlement, or is is just more visible to me now?

moofolk · 19/04/2018 08:55

Aw poor guy. It was a 'volatile relationship', so who wouldn't film someone without their consent, beat them and threaten to send video to her family.

The judge might as well have said 'come on lads, we've all done it'. Angry

Noqonterfy · 19/04/2018 08:49

What a load of fucking shit. That's not love. That's control and abuse from inadequate disgusting excuse of a human being whose got away with destroying another person. Angry

CapnHaddock · 19/04/2018 08:21

12 weeks suspended for 12 months? Unless men kill us, they can do pretty much anything they like to women in a relationship context

SusanBunch · 19/04/2018 08:16

Absolutely horrific. What a piece of scum.

Coldhandscoldheart · 19/04/2018 06:30

Would there be any case for requesting is it a judicial review of the sentence? I know this has happened before in the case of a very lenient sentence.

Strugglingtodomybest · 19/04/2018 06:19

Typical. This is so disheartening.

dangermouseisace · 18/04/2018 20:15

WTF?? Why is this man not in jail? The judge is a misogynistic prick.

WrongOnTheInternet · 18/04/2018 19:55

FFS.

There is no justice for women in Britain.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 18/04/2018 19:43

The judge seemed to be commiserating with him for the loss of his 'love'. Did he not sit through the trial?

AssassinatedBeauty · 18/04/2018 19:42

So saying something mean about your partner totally justifies them sending revenge porn and promising to fuck your life up. Because he loved her....

This judge thinks treating a woman as a possession to ruin is the same as loving them.

I'll help train the sharks that we're going to use to guard Women's Island!

AngryAttackKittens · 18/04/2018 19:39

So the official judicial take is that taking revenge against your ex is fine (if you're a man), maybe just feel a bit sorry if she then kills herself? Not sorry enough to actually serve time for it, obviously.

"'I accept that video was sent out of revenge for something that the complainant had said about you during the relationship."

Jeez you'd think we'd moved past "look what you made me do" and here we have a judge providing it to a defendant as mitigation!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 18/04/2018 19:30

That summary... She must have been in hell to take that action. The judge should have asked themself if she have done this if the defendant hadn't acted in the way he did?

I was just reading about another London Italian man in court for faking porn photos of a female colleague and posting them online because she didn't want to him out with him or give him her phone number.
