Apparently the Alt-Right and 4-Chan are using MN.
I think it's just one person who controls their tweets. I really hope that the top Lib Dems know what's being said.

This quote in particular...

As far as I can tell, the RadFem movement sprouted up like stinkweed, first in the UK, from one woman’s dissatisfaction with the Labour Party deciding to include Transgender rights as part of their manifsto in defending The Gender Recognition Act of 2004

The ignorance is strong with this one.

LanaKanesTerfyVagina · 03/04/2018 12:25

Here we go....

I just learned what radfem is and it's terrifying

Do not drink and read....I practically choked on my coffee Grin Grin

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 03/04/2018 12:25

I need to admit something to you all.
I was radicalised into stealing a house in Mexico. FOR SHAME.

DarthArts · 03/04/2018 12:19

I read that Lang - it was so funny it has me spluttering out my tea.

You'd think of you really believed in a cause you wouldn't do it a disservice by spouting utter ill inform rubbish, but no....

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 03/04/2018 12:18

Can you link the article?

LangCleg · 03/04/2018 12:15

(side note to that absolute corker of an article doing the rounds on Twitter basically blaming Venice Allen for "starting" radical feminism in like 2004- how do you explain that my mother was a radfem in the 70s???!!)

I read that! Funnier than any parody!

Kneedeepinunicorns · 03/04/2018 12:12

Shh Ancient . The stealth lemon drizzles are being deployed on CFs world wide as we speak, the SAS are prepared for their love bombing combined with 123 magic assault on Putin, Corbyn and Trump, and the second wave of penguin bollard regiments are nearly trained to make people Park Properly for Fucks Sake.

Now twiddle your hair, flash your Boden leggings at the naice lib dims and make simpering sounds about biscuits quick, they're looking this way.

53rdWay · 03/04/2018 12:12

Ranting about MN like this is an own goal anyway. There’s a lot of the general public who haven’t been following this debate in detail, but are willing to believe there’s crowds of feminists attacking LGBT people if they’re told that’s the case. But when you start telling that public that Mumsnet is a hive of radicalised hatred, a lot of them are going to hit the “wait, hang on a minute here...” stage.

RedToothBrush · 03/04/2018 12:11

www.libdems.org.uk/making_a_complaint

Here is where you can complain.

COME AND TALK TO MN LIB DEMS.

I challenge you.

RedToothBrush · 03/04/2018 12:10

Perhaps anyone who would like to make a complaint, should do so, (you can complain as a member or if you are not a member).

Part of the complaint form asks what action you would like to see come as a result of a complaint.

How about putting you would like to invite the LDs to engage with women on MN about the subject and be constructive in bringing the warring sides together rather than being part of the problem by pouring fire on the flames of the whole damn thing?

You know like you would expect in a flipping democracy and with responsible political leadership.

MrsJoshDun · 03/04/2018 12:10

I've run out of parties to vote for. Tories, Labour, lib dems and greens are all off the list.

LanaKanesTerfyVagina · 03/04/2018 12:09

I'm utterly bemused at me......a quite far left vegetarian, anti fascist, hunt sabbing, eco warrior, radfem getting accused of being an alt- right/ far right radical. [grins]

Oh and I was radicalised by my own rad fem, anti fascist mother......long before the internet even existed.

(side note to that absolute corker of an article doing the rounds on Twitter basically blaming Venice Allen for "starting" radical feminism in like 2004- how do you explain that my mother was a radfem in the 70s???!!)

But this is making you look pathetic, and has given us a jolly good laugh, so crack on.

Your mad rantings are turning more women radical everyday......cheers for the work.

Also you are going to turn one of the last bastions of LD voters off ya...........was it your plan to kill your own party in the name of sexist ideology when the main voter base is women???

sanluca · 03/04/2018 12:05

Ancientlights, that just made me spit out my coffee laughing. You owe me a keyboard!

AncientLights · 03/04/2018 12:00

It was clearly an inspired diversionary tactic to call this Mumsnet. The world thinks it's about cakes and children whereas in reality it's a dastardly plot to take over the world.

UpstartCrow · 03/04/2018 11:57

Is 4chan offended by being labelled a load of Mums?

Xenophile · 03/04/2018 11:55

I'm pretty sure I know who runs the LGBTLD Twitter account and sadly, they aren't young or politically naive. They are quite well known for their enormous misogyny which they're happy to spew on their personal Twitter accounts as well.

I'm not naming names, one of them is a litigious bastard who's like a dog with a bone when his particular eye of sauron turns on someone.

I wasn't radicalised by MN, that happened many hundreds of years ago in education.

Anyway, I quite like PomBears, I think Brian from Hull was a shonky bastard and the Mumsnet haircut is great. if you want to look like Cadfael

flowersonthepiano · 03/04/2018 11:55

Great thread Grin
Choice of boxes to tick at elections getting difficult.

53rdWay · 03/04/2018 11:51

There’s always the Women’s Equality Party, they surely care what feminists have to say!

Oh wait, no.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 03/04/2018 11:50

Maybe Green? Oh nope, probably not now that women are non-men to them.

GladAllOver · 03/04/2018 11:45

Labour falling apart over racism.
Tories falling apart over Brexit.

and now LibDems falling for the TERF crap.

Just who can we vote for now?

womanhuman · 03/04/2018 11:35

Oh yeah, she’s still here. It was temporary.

FlaviaAlbia · 03/04/2018 11:34

She got followed round the site and goaded by MRA types then temporarily banned when she snapped back as far as I remember...

SpringNowPlease2018 · 03/04/2018 11:32

I thought I saw AnyFucker a couple of weeks ago. Bizarre. Thanks.

SittingAround1 · 03/04/2018 11:32

I'm ready to be radicalised. After all everyone knows that once you've given birth you lose all capacity for independent rational thought.

I still have a toilet brush though.

ScarletBegonias · 03/04/2018 11:26

AF was given a temporary ban 4 or 5 years ago, if I remember rightly, for troll-hunting, personal attacks and general aggression. If you google you can probably find the quite long explanation MNHQ put up at the time.
