Gosh yes, terryleather where did all the decades go?

Obviously, I'm still in the 90s mode when looking at the video.

terryleather · 02/04/2018 15:06

Ha! I was just think the same Eresh!
I have some important procrastinating to do so that could a job for me...

Howyoualldoworkme · 02/04/2018 15:04

UpstartCrow Unfortunately saying Fuck Off to students and self important lecturers wasn't encouraged (NASAL Wink)
It's very very helpful dealing with TRAs on Twitter and for helping with my blood pressure and stomach acid.

terryleather · 02/04/2018 15:04

Christ that video makes me feel old, they're all so young and fresh faced.
I still feel like the 90s was only a decade ago...Confused

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2018 15:04

Someone should go in and post "Parklife" in response to every one of her mindless tweets.

shakeyourcaboose · 02/04/2018 15:03

All together now.. "And we all go hand in hand" will absolutely have to use the Parklifing when it comes to biting down comments that would probably cause me to become unemployed!

Elendon · 02/04/2018 15:01

I secretly fancy Damon Albarn and Phil Daniels in this video. Smile

terryleather · 02/04/2018 14:59

They just learned this nonsense but never learned how or why to question it.

And that's even more scary as they're teaching the bs to others.

Upstart My usual response to the bs is a hearty fu! also but now I think about it Parklifing would probably be more effective - no one likes being laughed at especially those of a narcissistic bent...

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2018 14:57

Fuck off works too.

UpstartCrow · 02/04/2018 14:54

Howyoualldoworkme Maybe I should try 'Park Life!' instead of 'fuck off' Grin

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2018 14:49

They just learned this nonsense but never learned how or why to question it.

terryleather · 02/04/2018 14:47

Honestly Eresh how has someone so ignorant got a job as a lecturer and written a book????
I'm often pushed to the point of frustrated tears by the pishwank I read on Twitter, but it's just so much worse when it comes from someone who is actually paid to teach others...fuck queer/pomo bs and the mind rotting it's responsible for Angry

terryleather · 02/04/2018 14:41

Howyou Ah, I can see now why Parklifing would come in handy for you...thanks for sharing your tactics, I think I'm going to be using it rather a lot from now on as it's very effective in defusing my radge! Grin

Howyoualldoworkme · 02/04/2018 14:18

terryleather I worked in a University for 30 years, I find "Parklifing" saves many an unwise comment Grin

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2018 14:06

Those comments by that self-important clueless fool make me despair for humanity. She even says it's gender critical people who are the abusers flipping victim and perpetrator. I don't fucking think so.

terryleather · 02/04/2018 13:37

Oh Langcleg I want to believe you re:Twitter but it's still so dispiriting to
see all the bs written down - at least if I don't see it I can almost pretend it isn't happening...

GrinGrinGrin Howyou!!! If only I could have read it like that initially. Think I'll go back and reread it with Parklife! mentally inserted - thank you!

Howyoualldoworkme · 02/04/2018 13:31

Is it just me who wanted to say "Parklife" after some of those bollocky statements by @ binarythis?

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2018 13:24

But TRAs won't like it either as it's "othering".
They really got it wrong on all fronts here.

Yes I laughed at the person earnestly saying "are you saying trans women aren't women"? Grin

R0wantrees · 02/04/2018 13:22

propaganda.... propaganda.... propaganda!

OohMavis · 02/04/2018 13:21

"So woke. Much feminism."

Grin
ElenOfTheWays · 02/04/2018 13:20

Seems to sum up the entire TRA ideology in one short sentence.

But TRAs won't like it either as it's "othering".
They really got it wrong on all fronts here.

LangCleg · 02/04/2018 13:19

I keep telling myself to stay off Twitter for the good of my health - utter arrant bs like this is the reason why.

The good thing about the Twatter is that everyone who indulges this BS is on there - and that "everyone" is a tiny proportion of the population which in no way reflects the views of the wider public. We can see them.

The bad thing about the Twatter is that this "everyone" operates in a self-defined (oh, the irony) echo chamber and genuinely believes it reflects the views of the wider public. They can't see us.

AngryAttackKittens · 02/04/2018 13:18

Nah, mate. Not having that.

A woman's place is in the revolution, not groveling at some arrogant man's feet, regardless of whether or not he's wearing a dress.

OddBoots · 02/04/2018 13:15

Goes to show what happens when people use their feelings in place of their brains, no wonder they 'no debate' everything and they can't tell the difference between killing an ideology and killing a person.

HerFemaleness · 02/04/2018 13:14

Dear god, and somebody actually signed off on that?

Why would any self-respecting woman wander around with a t-shirt that proclaims her lot in life is to support other people? Bollocks to that, a woman's place is standing her ground.
