Immediately after the show ended Matthew was summoned to a 'crisis' meeting with Channel 5 honchos, who were ' terrified 'by the spectre of a Twitter backlash from the trans community.
Doesn't this make people pause?
I mean people who aren't clued up on all this like the women on here. Don't they wonder how the 'trans community' (TRAs) are terrifying the likes of Channel 5 and Milwall? Doesn't it ever seem disproportionate to them? As was said on another thread I really don't think many people have a clue about all this and when told they tend to take the default virtue position or think it is all silly and won't come to anything (not realising it already has in many respects). I know if I read this and about Milwall I would be wondering how this allegedly tiny community has got so many people in a panic about upsetting them.
I do not think Matthew Wright should have to apologise for this, as he said it was just the truth. FGS he's said far worse on his show about all sorts of people. It just shows you how the media are in the TRAs thrall.
