James is going to be discussing trans issues today on LBC. His show is on now - not sure what time the segment will start, but should be good!

I feel so proud of Amy and Hannah...and all the brilliant BRILLIANT women who are here talking and planning and helping women.

ohfortuna · 19/03/2018 12:38

Oh my god, just suck his cock James while you are at it
Hahaha you could just tell that the 'chemically female' TIM was so getting off on the fact that he now has breasts and a cock, imagine the thrill he gets from exposing himself in the women's changing rooms at the gym
It's such a horny life being an autogynephilic isn't it, not to mention all the love you get from everyone when you tell them how oppressed you are

agennaro · 19/03/2018 12:34

You were brilliant. Thanks so much for pointing the point across in such a calm and reasonable way!

LanaKanesTerfyVagina · 19/03/2018 12:34

Calmed down a bit now.

Lottapianos · 19/03/2018 12:34

'However I think that for James the best 'customers' are people who are emotional and not overly intelligent, that way he gets to stay in control.'

I think you're right. Ultimately it's all about him. Whatever the topic, however serious it is, he always brings it back to himself

ohfortuna · 19/03/2018 12:32

@Sweary you were just great on the phone, calm rational and articulate.
However I think that for James the best 'customers' are people who are emotional and not overly intelligent, that way he gets to stay in control.
You are just a sort of opponent he doesn't want
Go you😁👍

Elendon · 19/03/2018 12:32

Don't give this man the pleasure of getting feedback.

He doesn't deserve it.

BMacklin · 19/03/2018 12:32

And thanks to Lemonade for starting the thread especially for those of us who couldn't listen.

rowdywoman1 · 19/03/2018 12:32

That was great Hannah.

Re the frustration - I'm a bit more chilled about it. He has previously nailed his colours to the mast about this and the fact that he is acknowledging that there IS an issue is progress. We all know how convoluted and difficult an issue it is - there are so many factors and the absolute vulnerability of trans people IS evident and very hard to deal with without coming over as uncaring.

Small steps - but in fact majorly big steps today.

ConspiracyWeary · 19/03/2018 12:32

Sweary you did yourseld and us proud. You were so controlled and informed. I loved that you left the pauses hanging and pulled him up every time he tried to put you on the spot.

I am getting a WWHD? Bracelet so I can always catch myself in tricky conversations and ask myself...

What Would Hannah Do?

You rock.

JudIII · 19/03/2018 12:31

You did great, you were so calm and articulate in the face of bellowing sanctimonious debate tactics ..just like the feminists that have come before you and the ones that will come after you. Thank you for being so brave. Flowers

Minerva1234 · 19/03/2018 12:31

Sweary was brilliant.

What JOB seemed to be missing is WHY we have male/female segregation in the first place. Why not just have everyone in together in the naked changing rooms etc? And if that's not OK, how does claiming to be a woman make it OK?

Elendon · 19/03/2018 12:31

Your voice is strong and vibrant Hannah/SwearyG as is Amy's.

More power to your elbows and I think you are both fabulous.

Thank you for doing this. Star Star

Lottapianos · 19/03/2018 12:30

It's even more impressive Sweary that you were so scared but did it anyway. You stayed so extremely calm and rational all the way through, even with the phone line dropping out near the start. You make me proud to be a 'TERF' Grin

Terftastic · 19/03/2018 12:29

You did good, Sweary. Really good.

I'm still at the stage where I shake after re-tweeting something gender critical.

LanaKanesTerfyVagina · 19/03/2018 12:29

At least he had the bollox to mention Martin Ponting at the end.

MrsWooster · 19/03/2018 12:29

Don't bother phoning - they've moved on. You can email though: I mailed about the guides issue, To try and get his head, literally and metaphorically, away from toilets and back to girls and women's rights to dignity.

Mouthtrousersafrocknowandthen · 19/03/2018 12:29

All women can suffer James, you are happy with that. Not all men though, the ones men will abuse have to hide with the women, and we can all suck it up if a violent man comes in. We understand you now James. Nobody cares.

Pratchet · 19/03/2018 12:28

Well done sweary. I've not heard anyone get the better of him before. I think that's why he over compensated with the TIMs.

LanaKanesTerfyVagina · 19/03/2018 12:28

You were amazing Sweary.......

You were my voice in the madness.

You have inspired me, and hopefully many others to start going public.

I don't have a job to lose.....so I might change my Twitter accounts etc to my real name and start talking.

Thank you Flowers

CadyHeron · 19/03/2018 12:28

By the way, I want to thank everyone cheerleading on this thread.

You're brilliant, well done you Smile

LineysRun · 19/03/2018 12:28

It was very valuable though in terms of planning tactics going forward. Shows us what to prepare for.

And Sweary was great and now has an interview under her belt.

nauticant · 19/03/2018 12:28

Well done Roz, you got JOB to acknowledge just about all of your point about a rapist in a women's prison. He didn't sound very pleased to be doing that.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 19/03/2018 12:27

Sweary you are a legend.

He’s a self absorbed bully.

BMacklin · 19/03/2018 12:27

Yet for Sweary !!!! My hero!
