They have delayed the announcement re transwomen on All Women Shortlists until June. Because they need to think hard on it.

But, oh, there are elections in England in May! Wouldn't it be nice if the lovely ladies would stop being obstreperous cunts for a wee while and voted for us in May.

Then we can nicely fuck them over in June, just before we all set off to Tuscany for the summer.

It's not even just about the self ID policy.

I'm never going to agree with it but I might have got past it and still voted for them had they not shown so much contempt and vitriol towards women expressing concern.

There could have been a respectful debate and even if the outcome had still been a policy of self ID it would have still been more positive than women being publicly called cunts, put on secret Stasi like lists and thrown out of the party - all for wanting a voice pertaining to the erosion of their rights.

This should tell everyone, men or women, a lot about how the current Labour Party operate.

Good point!

They won’t be getting my vote either.

Why just wc votors? Anyone capable of critical thinking does not want to go down the path of denying objective biological reality. We don't want to live in a Trumpian world of "alternative facts".

Exactly.

I've noticed they are not in a rush to suspend the self ider's from women's shortlists and positions until they've made the announcement.

Which tells everyone what the announcement will be, they just don't want the bad publicity it will bring until voting is done.

When they come knocking on my door I’ll be telling them exactly why this lifelong labour voter won’t be voting for them, especially as my local MP has ignored my every effort to contact him .

CorbynTrouserPress · 18/03/2018 15:53

Not getting my vote. We're a previously tribal labour-voting family and not one member is voting for them based on self-ID. Labour's stance on self-ID is going to play out very, very badly with working class voters.
