I’ve passed this onto a few people today who haven’t been able to sign it but have been able to sign other petitions on the same site.
Weird.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 17/04/2018 21:50

Really? That is weird!

I think it did better overnight Hmm

I have seen it tweeted.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 17/04/2018 17:50

Yes, we need all the people that signed over the weekend to share (or JHB to tweet it) Smile

It seems to have got a bit stuck, today.

Hello

This needs a bit of a shake.

Melamin · 17/04/2018 08:53

Signed, which is kinda rare for me, I'm not usually a politcky person

Me neither. But sometimes the politicians need a bit of a wake up. I don't think they have thought this change in law through properly and excluding women from the debate shows this is the case.

10 368 this morning.

Thanks Triple Rainbow. I knew technology wouldn't let me cheat.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 15/04/2018 22:10

10,200!

TripleRainbow · 15/04/2018 18:06

You can only sign it once. If you try to sign more than once you'll receive an email advising you that you have signed already.

AncientLights · 15/04/2018 17:57

Is there any way of telling if I've signed this before? I'm sure I must have done so but not 100% sure. I have a memory of being told ages ago that double signing invalidates a petition. Don't know if that's true. Wouldn't want to risk it.

RosenbergW · 15/04/2018 17:05

Winewinewinegin

it is such a low risk

I agree with you about this and I signed it, I have heard worries though from different friends. Some have signed but been reluctant to share which is understandable because sadly trans activists have made this

There is nothing controversial or objectionable in it all.

A very touchy subject, no matter how true it should be.

But 10000 plus is a lot of support to come out of this particular closet.

LizzieSiddal · 15/04/2018 15:04

Supposedly it should be confidential yes. But we live in a time when Labour party representatives make barely veiled threats about how they'll misuse access to "pretty pretty data", and keep not-so-secret hit lists of women to target for punishment.

I expect that was a gross exaggeration on the part of a certain Labour women’s officer. I doubt they have access to any Labour data would they?
