Magdalen Berns might be under 30! Can you imagine how amazing she would be Grin

BeyondDeadlySiren · 16/03/2018 17:37

It worked on the recent Vic Derbyshire programme. They had three TIMs and one GC feminist on, til there were complaints and then they changed to two of each :)

OlennasWimple · 16/03/2018 17:36

Why do you say that Trumpdump?

Though I've always assumed that there was something more that went on, given that a two year sentence for burglary committed as a 16 year old strongly suggests some real aggravating features

Make your feelings known before?

Pratchet · 16/03/2018 17:03

We could help pre empt a pro trans advert by encouraging them to have a balanced panel

OlennasWimple · 16/03/2018 16:53

QT has done all sorts of "specials" over the years, including a First Time Voters one, region specific (notably Scotland in the Indy Ref run up)... It's not really a big deal

whoputthecatout · 16/03/2018 16:47

Along with Owen Jones of course.

whoputthecatout · 16/03/2018 16:47

Paris Lees on the telly so much they should just provide a bed for her at Broadcasting House. The ultimate rent-a-gob.

Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 16:44

Hasn't Paris been on it more recently than that? I thought in the last couple of years?

AreYouTerfEnough · 16/03/2018 16:36

And this confirms why I’m really glad I no longer pay the licence fee.

thanksjaneshusbandatcaresouth · 16/03/2018 16:25

Has question time ever been limited by age before?

OlennasWimple · 16/03/2018 16:21

BTW this isn't the first time that PL has been on Question Time. PL was a panellist in 2013 with Ed Miliband* and others: www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/10/31/paris-lees-makes-history-as-bbc-question-times-first-out-trans-panellist/

*shows how much has changed in just 5 years....

ILikeBigCrisps · 16/03/2018 16:10

I think it could be good for a lot of people watching if the trans issue comes up. I can see Dimbleby playing the innocent 'please explain to me...' card.

As long as a question is raised it will be very interesting to see it played out

OP posts:
Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 15:42

It does Olenna. Hope that helps Grin

OlennasWimple · 16/03/2018 15:38

PL is under 30...? Grin Grin Grin

Only if transition means that you get to start the clock again at any age you wish

Pratchet · 16/03/2018 14:50

It's possible to write and request that the panel be balanced by sex. Paris has a history of refusing to debate. Someone who knows their stuff on the GRA - and not just a right winger like JHB - should be there to debunk Lees's claims. JHB would feed into the idea that we are bigots.

Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 12:33

The week that you want Julia HB on the panel...

Absolutely. Please let that happen!

Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 12:33

Thank you! I know, just don't have a source so wanted to fact check first before saying it. Is there a source we can definitely quote on this, that the man died? Are details of the court case available anywhere?

bookgirl1982 · 16/03/2018 12:32

LangCleg · 16/03/2018 12:29

Ask Paris if going to prison for a violent assault on an elderly man taught Paris anything about the nature of male violence.

Or, more accurately, Ask Paris if going to prison for a violent assault on an elderly man who subsequently died taught Paris anything about the nature of male violence.

Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 12:27

I'll reserve judgement but will be likely making a complaint about this I think.

Ellenripleysalienbaby · 16/03/2018 12:26

If anyone can't see the blatant social engineering the BBC is trying to pull off by restricting the QT audience to people under 30 they are blind.

Yes, it's so fucking transparent isn't it?!

Ellenripleysalienbaby · 16/03/2018 12:25

So we don't know who else is going to be on the panel? Does Paris?

Please let them put someone amazing on there. David Davies won't have any credibility because he is so anti gay rights.

Ereshkigal · 16/03/2018 12:24

If anyone can't see the blatant social engineering the BBC is trying to pull off by restricting the QT audience to people under 30 they are blind. Is Paris Lees the average 29 year old? No. They are playing to an even younger audience. They should have made it under 25. I hope there are some sensible twentysomethings in the audience.
