I’d be willing to bet he’s in a relationship with or has some sort of thing for a transwoman

Well, it certainly won't be with a trans man. Even suggesting he might be sexually interested in trans men means that you're a massive homophobe who doesn't know that gay men have been told to shag a woman to cure themselves since the dawn of time.

So, to LOJ, trans women are women and lesbians must consider them as sexual partners or they're just massive transphobes, but trans men are still apparently female and gay men can just discount them because it's homophobic.

Mummy and daddy must have pulled some serious strings to get him into Oxbridge if that's his level of logic.

Another reason to adore Julie Bindel. She's totally fab

CRINGING for Owen Jones. He got his mum involved???? Dear god

TheNaze73 · 09/03/2018 08:11

Odious little man. The love child of Student Grant from Viz & Rik from the Young Ones.

She tied him up in knots on Twitter Grin

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 09/03/2018 08:06

Also, look at everything he says about trans women being oppressed. It can easily be applied to actual women but Owen is either too thick or too disingenuous to see that.

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/03/2018 07:42

That interview with Alastair C is embarrassing. Not sure if it's meant to be a pisstake or not but OJ's smug face when he says "like Iraq?" makes me want to slap him.

Patodp · 09/03/2018 07:18

He's happy to flash his gay card when it comes to supporting people with penii but he can't bring himself to listen to lesbians. Just wants to attack them.

I just found out he has blocked me and I have never interacted with him - nice to know journalists are open to differing opinions….He's gone way below negative in my opinion of him (wasn't high before)- one expects a bit more of journalists - an engagement if they don't agree - it's very telling ….

Oh I recall - I tagged him yesterday, as a male researcher, who is a real women's advocate, retweeted his guardian article and I replied and tagged OJ and said he's no friend of women - so he must have blocked me.

wonder if he silences anyone else irl rather than engaging when they object to his words...

SeniorRita · 09/03/2018 01:03

OMG he's blocked me! I've only ever replied to him once. That was to his tweet that said Labour had pushed the trans agenda because of the opposition to it. I said "Bollocks. Lady bollocks if you prefer" and he's blocked me. What a knob.

ExFunFeminist · 09/03/2018 00:56

That caption is funny, but I clicked on the Anorak link, WTF did I just witness! He's behaving like Special Officer Doofy.

TolchockLovelyInTheLitso · 09/03/2018 00:42

Even 6 months later this photo and the various captions on it at the time make me laugh. goo.gl/images/HZ5wyY

AngryAttackKittens · 09/03/2018 00:35

Must be hard work typing so much with those squishy little plasticine hands.

RedToothBrush · 09/03/2018 00:31

*imagining mr1984 vanity searching and seeing the morph comment....

terfsRus · 09/03/2018 00:30

I used to like him. Then he started going on about punching alt-righters and I thought 'this won't end well'. He's moved on to terfs/women now. Wonder who's next.

Terftastic · 09/03/2018 00:27

This - tweet of his - is just beyond the pale. Gloating. And blaming women for standing up for women's rights. Who is he?

(Just added that last one because I love a bit of Blackadder - anyway - seems Graham Lineham's on our side, I'm sure many more are too)

AngryAttackKittens · 09/03/2018 00:23

"The only nice woman of the non penis having variety in the world is my mummy and she loves me very much!", says petulant manchild.

TheButterflyOfTheStorms · 09/03/2018 00:12

He's an odd little chap. I always imagine him being about six inches high and made of plasticine, like an aggressively sanctimonious Morph.

I actually snorted. Which is impossible as we all know women in general and feminists in particular aren't funny. I must be delusional.

aggressively sanctimonious Morph

Bejazzled · 09/03/2018 00:06

My teenage boys are way more than him - aeons ahead of him in maturity

My teenager would be mortified if I did that. But then again, he's quite good at debating and fighting his corner - unlike wee 'babba own own'

aRespectableBureaudeChange · 09/03/2018 00:01

I think they really have got themselves in a muddle - the minority he supports are born male so it is the male community that should be looking at how to make trans feel safe in their male environments.

Instead they react like Matthew Hopkins (Witchfinder General ) believing in magic and trickery " these men have magically transformed into the female sex by moving their outer furniture around" .

OJ says in Sheffield accent: nowt to do with us men now - you women deal with 'em. That's magic for you, down with your science.

Men then don't have to question or reflect on anything it may say about them that they are so willing to accept there is more to being female than what they tell us there is.

"Mummy, can I have the password to your Twitter, please? A scary lesbian was mean to me and I want her to know that you love your little boy"

However now, thanks to DrCunty, this is all done in a sanctimonious Morph voice.

LinesInTheSand · 08/03/2018 23:50

Oh jesus that's grim-cringe

Terftastic · 08/03/2018 23:50

OMG, getting mumsy to tweet for him is definitely weird.

If that was my son, I'd be like, deal with it yourself darling!! In fact I tell my children - ie minors - that now about squabbles with classmates. Mummy wading in to silly arguments does nobody any good (how old is he??)

He is an absolute tantrumming child! My DD is more mature than him and she's 10. My teenage boys are way more than him - aeons ahead of him in maturity.
