Transcript of her interrogation disciplinary interview with Labour on above link.

The term Orwellian is way overused, but I think it is actually applicable here.

Particularly noticeable to me was the insistence on not just looking at the the facts, but at what she was thinking. I didn't realise thought crime was a thing outside of dystopian fiction.

I feel sorry for Venice, it came across that Labour was very much part of who she was.

Venice was bloody amazing

I'm properly impressed by her ability to stick to her points and remain sane and courteous in the face of such surreal and blithering questioning

DarthArts · 08/03/2018 19:32

I can't understand why the press aren't jumping on that transcript.

It's absolutely purile in its intent to force a "confession".

Venice was bloody amazing.

HairyBallTheorem · 08/03/2018 18:58

Venice, if you're reading this, well done for arguing so coherently and calmly in the face of a McCarthyite witchhunt. (And I look forward to hearing your transcript JJ - sorry you've been put through this shite too).

cloudtree · 08/03/2018 18:52

This has reached a point now where it is bordering on scary. This is a future government of this country acting in this way. Shock

I run a law firm and am speaking to my colleague tomorrow about offering free legal support to those affected (in their employment) by this craziness.

qumquat · 08/03/2018 18:48

Terrifyinh

DarthArts · 08/03/2018 18:28

@CuriousaboutSamphire

I had the same reaction

harpyone · 08/03/2018 17:55

It was appalling.
The thing that creeped me out, was sking if VA’s mother agreed.
I would be hard put to not to say what that had to do with Anything and perhaps they should ask her.
Frankly stalinist.

KochabRising · 08/03/2018 17:29

Is feminism a notion that exists in the animal kingdom?" from the transcript.

‘No. And neither is left wing politics. What’s your point?’ Is what I’d had answered

woman11017 · 08/03/2018 17:22

The Labour Party is run by lunatics
"Is feminism a notion that exists in the animal kingdom?" from the transcript. Confused

TerfsUp · 08/03/2018 17:13

The Labour Party is run by lunatics.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 08/03/2018 17:09

Was going well until "cisgender women" !

I wonder if it will make a difference? Is today, Women's Day, a turning point?

Howyoualldoworkme · 08/03/2018 16:33

That is so frightening! It reminded me of a scene from that film Brazil Sad
I hope some MSM picks it up

Ereshkigal · 08/03/2018 16:23

Wow!!! So dickhead and dicksplash are words you can be thrown out of the labour party for. But calling someone a cunt is just fine.

Yes and this was in a private feminist Facebook group which a transactivist lied to get into and then doxed several women from it, and Venice isn't a Labour official. It truly is thoughtcrime.

TinselAngel · 08/03/2018 16:17

The one of them that I know (only by sight), is, I understand, generally avoided by the women in the large group of our shared interest, for being a bit creepy.

WeAreGerbil · 08/03/2018 16:04

Me too Tinsel, though I'm surprised to see him there.

SelfIdentifiedTable · 08/03/2018 15:50

Me too, @TinselAngel. I used to debate against one of them at university competitions ten years ago. A creepy fucker back then, too.

TinselAngel · 08/03/2018 15:44

Wow @XXHelenaXX 's post has given me a bit of a turn. I sort of know one of those guys IRL.

MeltingSnowAfterHeavyFall · 08/03/2018 15:34

Jennifer, they are talking about your campaign on Rusian TV! Confused link on another thread.

SweetGrapes · 08/03/2018 15:32

Sorry! Am reading bit by bit... am supposed to be working. Not much work going on.

Elendon · 08/03/2018 15:31

Is feminism a notion that exists in the animal kingdom?

No, because animals do not have the power of thought, wisdom and intelligence, unlike women. However, animals do understand the difference between males and females. Females will keep her cubs away from males because those cubs are in danger from being killed.

TalkingintheDark · 08/03/2018 15:19

If there was any lingering doubt about what we’re up against here, there can’t be any left now.

My heart goes out to Venice - and to you, JenniferJames - the sense of betrayal and loss must be enormous.

But for all of us, whatever our party allegiance (mine was to Labour too, before all this) it’s genuinely frightening that these things are happening here, in the UK, now.

And yes, the Pope/Galileo quote - spot on.

MephistophelesApprentice · 08/03/2018 15:09

It's concerning to see people punished for being rude online or having unpopular opinions, all in the name of political correctness.

JenniferJames · 08/03/2018 15:05

gonna put up the mp3 of my suspension interview in a min

JenniferJames · 08/03/2018 15:04

i have complained... only about half of my complaints acknowledged.
