Gendered Intelligence - advice please!

Anybody attended training with gendered intelligence? It is being suggested for an organisation I care about. I am looking at their website and I can't really tell a huge amount. Are there any alternative training organisations? My concerns in this particular instance would be about safeguarding vulnerable children, and whether this group was responsible in their handling of suicide stats, confidentiality, dangerous medication and sexual abuse.

@thebewilderness simply reading the title I came here to suggest the same book. A must read for all.

Astraia I would love to see that PowerPoint please?
This is extremely frustrating as there are lots of questions I have but I just can't risk it. Everybody's advice is extremely helpful, keep it coming! Especially if you know anything related to the concerns I stated earlier. Thanks

Everyone who is exposed to that kind of training needs a copy of Cordelia Fine's book Delusions of Gender.

Gendered Intelligence are heavily invested in the blue brain/pink brain premise.

They were behind the science museum exhibit on how to tell if you are a girl or a boy, by your preferences and little tests.

After people called the exhibit risible and damaging, the science museum said:

"However, with an issue of such scientific and cultural importance as this we have decided it is essential that we look again at the exhibit"

And

"Certainly from preliminary work looking at the latest scientific evidence, the ideas presented are now in question."

The main problem with it is that training is presented as being neutral, when in fact it carries a political message and aims to change the way organisations operate.

I am not sure you are going to find a trans organisation who allays your concerns. Transgender ideology is a religion. As individuals and as organisations I am pretty sure that as a whole they are honest, educated people whose priority is the care and welfare of trans people. Transgender people have every right to lead fulfilling and productive lives unhindered by prejudice and bullying. But this is on the basis of believing that there is a stand-alone "gendered soul" in every human, which is independent from the body. That is a belief only and it is unsupported by evidence. Any training which acknowledges that this is a belief system that would be OK in my book.

I have a Powerpoint from a session they did if you're interested. I absented myself as a matter of principle so can't talk in detail about it. They're very much in line with Mermaids from what I can tell.
