I don’t think or want abuse to have a place in politics - seems to be women on the receiving end mostly - but if Lily is going to dish it out (including dirty tricks like breaching DP laws) then they should be able to take it. LM isn't a woman, and the law allows for certain situations for women where even trans identified males with GRC can be excluded. So it is legally recognised that there is a difference.

Mm, and the rights of lesbian women who are being pressured to sleep with trans women with intact penises and being accused of transphobia if they don't? How about their rights?

What about the 80 percent of young people who would be likely to grow out of dysphoria if left to their own devices and not pushed towards transitioning and medical interventions? Many of whom are young women, who might well be survivors of sexual abuse, or autistic, or lesbians? Where do their rights fit in, when practitioners taking a supportive watchful waiting approach is considered transphobic?

Men like Lily are experts on women so they are the women's officer while women know nothing about the experiences of the trans identified male.

Take a look at the record of the young MP who is Madigan's age and manages to behave like a professional adult. Madigan was legally an adult when they stood for a public position, were judged competent to take that post, and has stood on a public post with public responsibilities lobbing grenades ever since.

The whinging that 'don't be horrible to child' doesn't cut it.

Either the Labour Party should be held responsible for fielding a child in a political post and not controlling their behaviour (I'd have some sympathy for that POV, I think they've been astoundingly irresponsible in maintaining a young adult in a post they are evidentially not mentally fit for) or else we are talking about an adult in a political position who is behaving extremely badly and should be held responsible for that behaviour.

The fact we're even having this conversation illustrates clearly the male privilege accorded to a TIM, a biological woman would never be allowed this much indulgence and unconditional awww bless support.

Lily has not undergone surgery, has not taken hormones, has not got a GRC. Has basically done nothing to prove any sort of long-term irreversible commitment to living as a woman. Lily is a teenage boy who has said one day that he is a woman and the whole world has accepted it and elected him women's officer. He has a girlfriend as well, which apparently makes him a 'lesbian'. He is basically a heterosexual male.

Only males can be transwomen, so it would be unpossible for them to be women since women are adult human females.
