No one wants you to be beaten or any of the other things you mention Paris. We just don’t believe you are a woman and we object to the harmful ideology you promote that hurts women and children.

"Right to exist" I mean come off it.

I know. It sounds so bloody juvenile and stupid.
A bit like your child shouting "I know you just HATE me and WANT ME to DIE!!!" when you ask them to help with the housework.

SeaWitchly · 12/02/2018 14:33

And all those selfies looking for ego stroking from the fan girls and boys Hmm
I do not understand how such a narcissistic, vapid and shallow person is being treated as the media spokesperson to go to for comment on trans people let alone women as a class or feminism.
It makes my blood boil.

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 16:16

The other funny this is that the ex footballer Neville Southall is one of Paris's biggest fans and comments on loads of her Tweets?! It's just so random!

Kind of like when that whole Ched Evans thing was going on and weirdly one of his biggest supporters on Twitter was Steve Brookstein from x factor. It was just such a different sphere to see them in!

WhereYouLeftIt · 08/02/2018 15:21

My first thought when I saw that tweet was 'Oh dear, someone hasn't had their ego stroked for at least an hour ...'. So self-absorbed.

Mrsmiguelcervantes · 08/02/2018 13:14

Yes, because that phone call inviting Paris to debate his right to exist definitely happened. As did the having his head shaved.

He will say anything for attention.

Oh the irony of dear Paris not even realising that tweet could have been truthfully written by every woman ever.

The replies are completely sickening. I only saw one that tried to call "her" out. But then, I had to stop reading as I was getting pissed off.

AngryAttackKittens · 08/02/2018 10:12

By which I mean, in a world without strict gender roles (or even this one 30 years ago) tiny Paris could have had long hair and that would have been fine. Grownup Paris is now working very hard to make sure that the world that would have allowed tiny Paris to do whatever he wanted with his hair never happens, because grownup Paris gets a sexual kick out of gender roles.

AngryAttackKittens · 08/02/2018 10:10

When the problem was gender to start with how can even more gender then be the solution?

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 09:56

Well if Paris did have her head shaved as a child 'to make her a boy' then I guess that would go a long way to explaining why she wanted to transition as an adult.

Perhaps if we just let boys express as they wish, including long hair if that is what they want, we wouldnt have be dealing with all this transing kids nonsense now.

AngryAttackKittens · 08/02/2018 09:55

So Paris was arrested (and had his head shaved) as a child?

I'm guessing that in non narcissist speak this means that his mum made him cut his hair short.

UpABitLate · 08/02/2018 09:54

"Right to exist" I mean come off it.

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 09:53

This is the second part of Paris's tweet.

SwearyG · 08/02/2018 09:52

Sorry AngryAttackKittens I misquoted Paris. It’s precisely what happened, not exactly what happened. When Paris was a child.

We have #metoo at the moment, there have been other times when women have talked about stuff like this. And each time the men say, Oh that's awful why didn't you say anyhthing, followed by, are you sure it's that bad, followed by OK shut up now.

Then followed up with 'why arent you including transwomen in everything you talk about'?

Lovelyusername · 08/02/2018 09:45

@upabitlate

Why are women never invited on to debate whether we deserve to be mocked, insulted and discriminated against?

This! Every time this happens we should call out the radio show / program and write in, email, tweet about it.

UpABitLate · 08/02/2018 09:41

Do these people have so little idea of the female experience?

Women go on about it all the time. We have #metoo at the moment, there have been other times when women have talked about stuff like this. And each time the men say, Oh that's awful why didn't you say anyhthing, followed by, are you sure it's that bad, followed by OK shut up now. The TIMs meanwhile seem to take this a step further by not noticing AT ALL. And then thinking that they are the only ones getting treated like shit. And by women? It's men who treats us like shit and they're way scarier.

UpABitLate · 08/02/2018 09:38

?

Why are women never invited on to debate whether we deserve to be mocked, insulted and discriminated against?

We are rarely invited to talk about the more serious stuff - sexual assault, street harassment, rape, DV... And when we are there's always a TIM on hand to say Oh dear don't say that, you nasty man-hater.

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 09:35

Check out this tweet. Is Paris saying that a TV bod contacted her with these exact words to try and get her to come on their show. Or was it in the context of the recent debate about women's refuges, or something similar, and Paris is just being a disingenuous gaslighter? From the comments below her acolytes appear to believe that this is exactly how she was asked.

Paris never does TV or radio debates around this issue. She claims its because she is not prepared to debate her existence/whether she should be beaten up/discriminated against blah blah blah. In reality we all know it's because she knows she doesn't stand a fucking chance against the likes of Karen Ingala Smith or Julie Bindel.

When the story about Indonesian police arresting and shaving the heads of trans identified men broke Paris tweeted that exactly the same thing had happened to them.

So wait, in this tale of probably imagined woe was Paris on vacation in Jakarta and arrested there, or are the British police now in the habit of shaving the heads of the people they arrest?

jellyfrizz · 08/02/2018 09:15

Trans women need to recognise what being a woman means. Threats of violence? Battling for health care? Being beaten? Sexual violence? Harassment? Yep, that’s being a woman. Get used to being a second class citizen. Learn to deal with it oh-so-politely.

^^ YES!!!!

NaturalWoman · 08/02/2018 09:08

I said something similar on another thread a couple of days ago.

Has it not occurred to these TIM that if they feel marginalised, unheard, ignored, at threat of violence from men, under represented and silenced that, actually, they have achieved the pinnacle.of womanhood.

That is being a woman.

Whatever special privileges they believed would be conferred to them by growing their hair and donning a dress haven't materialised becaise they don't exist.

SwearyG · 08/02/2018 09:06

When the story about Indonesian police arresting and shaving the heads of trans identified men broke Paris tweeted that exactly the same thing had happened to them. All the handmaidens were lapping it up and not one questioned 1) whether such things actually happen in the UK and 2) if they did why it wasn’t reported. It was such victim-bandwagon-jumping that I felt disgust with Paris. Such a narcissist and such a liar.

Ohforfoxsakereturns · 08/02/2018 09:02

Paris should be leading the battle for specific trans healthcare. Paris should be owning her trans battle. I can’t relate to what she’s been through for fucks sake, I have no idea. But it doesn’t mean I am without empathy. I just wish the TRAs would stop trying to appropriate and fit into womanhood. If trans people took ownership of their trans status I have no doubt that women would share their struggle and fight with them and for them. We’re good at that shit.

The one good thing about it is it bonds women. Women are fucking amazing. We’re strong, clever, considerate. We know what matters. We push human beings out of our vaginas. It’s no wonder men are so scared of us they feel they need to oppress us, show us who is boss with their fists.

I’d have a modicum if respect for Paris if she retracted and apologised for the shit she wrote for Vice.

NaturalWoman · 08/02/2018 09:02

All the "you go girl!" supporters will be the ones left scratching their heads wondering what happened when this all goes horribly wrong.

Kind of reminds me of 24th June 2016 when the top google search was "What is the EU?"

Vote/support however you like, but at least understand what you are voting for/supporting.

SuburbanRhonda · 08/02/2018 09:01

So Paris had a lovely weekend but instead of talking about that, decided to go on Twitter to whinge about the haterz?

Bit of glass-half-empty worldview, no?
