Interesting and thoughtful article

This has led to a form of societal 'Omerta'. I'd wager that there are millions of guys out there that dare not say a word, as they are essentially being blackmailed - and fear being 'outed'.

I definitely get the sense of this being true. For example that QC who supported the labour AWS crowdfunder publicly, then did a 180 within a few hours, apologising, stating he'd got a refund for his donation and given the money to a trans charity instead.

It was so dramatic and extreme it was quite chilling, I'm sure I wasn't the only wondered - what have they got on him?

derxa · 06/02/2018 18:44

I support you Tamsin and hope you will be OK. I feel frightened for the future of young children today. The Emperor is wearing no clothes and we're all afraid to say it. Yes those brave women and girls protesting against the hijab in Iran and here a head teacher cannot ban the hijab for under 8s in her school.

JoeStrummersBullshitDetector · 06/02/2018 18:40

Oh well...I'll throw my hat in, T.

I agree with you, but would take it a step further.

Its war on everything good, right, moral, and in the spirit of my enemy's enemy, there are some unholy bedfellows.

T, people are too safe in their bubbles to follow the money and interest and I fear for you. I hope you find the strength to keep speaking Truth.

Stay safe.

infamousT · 06/02/2018 18:39

Weezol

Indeed. Owen and the Momentum types are, to me at least, a clear and present danger to the UK.

If women are happy to be represented by Madigan, well - really; more fool them.

As an aside, and just to ram the message home, Google the following phrase:

'Women killed in 2017'

Enjoy.

Weezol · 06/02/2018 18:34

So, I've just had to blow my nose and I have had a little cry. I have felt under siege for so, so long and it finally got a bit overwhelming.

infamousT. Thanks for being a proper ally to women. There are a few out trans women posting on the feminist boards with serious concerns about self id. I have a friend who transitioned nearly 20 years ago and she's been called Truscum and suchlike by TRAs. And she's a traitor, because I'm a Terf. Or a unicorn or something.

Don't get me started on Owen fucking Jones and Bromentum. Outing myself a bit here, but I live in the city where the Labour Party was founded. And that little runt brought his circus up for a day out prole baiting last year to tell us we're doing politics all wrong. I try really hard not advocate violence but sometimes...

infamousT · 06/02/2018 18:32

Feel free to write me off.

It bothers me not. I've taken a pretty lonely stand here, and have been written off by many others.

I'll just say this: if someone had told you 5 years ago that we would all be here now even discussing transgender issues in this way - what would you have said to THEM at the time.

EXACTLY the same as you are saying to me now.

Guaranteed.

OnTheList · 06/02/2018 18:31

And it always strikes me that we villify Shariah law (and rightly so) for a system where it is pretty much impossible to prosecute rape (because a single women's testimony, unsupported by a male witness, is inadmissible in court) yet at the same time, de facto if not de jure, that is exactly how rape trials work in the west. A man can claim that "she once said 'fuck me harder' to an entirely different man" and use that successfully as his defence. A man can say "I fell penis first into her vagina, by accident" and successfully use that as a defence. Even when there are independent male witnesses (the Brock Turner case) the attacker can get away with a mere slap on the wrist.

This is actually really true. I had never thought of that before.

frogsoup · 06/02/2018 18:21

Yes, me too HairyBall. Just goes to show that it's possible to sound quite sensible on one subject and frankly mad on others. I am uneasy at many of the bedfellows involved in this struggle, but then I guess that's nothing new when it comes to any social justice movement!

infamousT · 06/02/2018 18:20

I'll also state that I am not an 'Islamophobe'.

It is unfortunately people, (especially women) that have the hard luck of being born Muslim that are most at risk from the hard core Wahhabi and Salafist brands of Islam that come out of the Arabian peninsula. They have a LOT of money and are the ones responsible for building Mosques at an alarming rate right across Western Europe right now.

In fact, my only friend over the last year is a Muslim from the Gambia - a different strain of the faith and nowhere near as conservative - and being an ex-British colony, have a totally different and more classically Liberal take on things.

The world is incredibly complex, and there are no easy answers out there... my advice is to follow the money.

I may paint an incredibly bleak looking future out of all this and have tied the various strands into quite the pretty bow.

Rest assured, I sincerely hope I am wrong. The mounting evidence appears to suggest otherwise.

Anything that now comes with a 'phobia' attached is connected, it's the self same politicking - and affords the self same route to prison.

If anyone out there can come up with any other reason that connects Political Islam with Political Postmodernism and Cultural Marxism, I'm all ears - but I've searched for two years, ad it's the only thing that I have turned up that explains why the two walk hand in hand and want to incarcerate you if you dare speak out.

I don't do Identity Politics. Millions of people invariably die.

I don't like elitists, nor supremacists, be they black, white, Asian or gay... Jew, Christian or Muslim.

Man OR woman OR anything in between.

History shows where it inevitably leads, and i merely attempt to stem the flow. I feel like a bit of a Knut now. But my son is 25 - so I have so-called skin in the game... and at 53 I won't be around to see how all this plays out eventually.

Just take where we are now - and roll it forward 10 years. 20.... 50.

Like what you see? I don't. It haunts me.

HairyBallTheorem · 06/02/2018 18:10

I have read the Koran.

I am reasonably clued up about fake news and fact checking against a variety of sources.

You are getting a bit tin-foil-hat, as far as I'm concerned, so as far as this thread goes, I'm out.

infamousT · 06/02/2018 17:58

Snopes.

Liars. Fake news. Globalist shills being paid to disseminate disinformation.

Next.

infamousT · 06/02/2018 17:54

As a quick disclaimer, I am NOT a 'conspiracy theorist.

Before The Crash, I had my own Digital Media business and many Blue Chip clients - specifically in the financial sector.

I've been online since 1996 - and have seen the rise and fall of quite a few tech bubbles... and that is where we are at now - a power grab by Silicon Valley that becomes more frenzied by the day.

If you search through the BBC 3 Twitter, you'll find all manner of 'pedosexual' apologist pieces - so believe THEM at your own risk.

Postmodernism IS a cesspit.

Read the Koran and the Hadiths. Make your own connections, I challenge you.

As far as Soros, the Clinton crime gang and the Globalist agenda is concerned, I pose this one question: If YOU had $18 Billion at your disposal and wanted to take over the world - can you think of a better way of doing it other than what we are all seeing being played out in real time right this second? Our troops in Afghanistan were told to turn a blind eye to our 'allies' sexually abusing boys, cuz... y'know - muh 'cultural differences'.

I guarantee you that this is ALL out there in the depths of the internet. Verified. Suppressed.

Maybe try reading Ed Bernays' seminal work 'Propganda', it's what Goebbels based everything the Nazis did on. Nad now with advanced NLP and an induced and distracted short attention span, it's as easy as pie to get the intellectually stilted to believe all manner of nonsense.

I take no pleasure in pointing ANY of this out - I am, after all, transsexual myself.

I am merely extremely angry about what is going on, and I have many extremely tough questions, and I would like some answers.

If THAT makes me a tin-foil hat nutter, then so be it. I'm not the only one that can take a helicopter view of all this and start making some extremely uncomfortable connections.

I don't do propaganda. I used to produce it. I used to get paid good money to. Also, I'm not an idiot.

Use Duck Duck Go and do a search of the term 'pedosexual'.

Enjoy.

HairyBallTheorem · 06/02/2018 17:46

Well, the same information is available from a variety of sources, so in this instance I am inclined to believe them.

Snopes

Swedish government statistics pointing to the issue of repeat offences by the same offender.

I agree with you on trans issues, btw, but I'm not going to buy into a narrative which demonises one group in particular for rape, when we know that the perpetrators of rape are a distinctly equal opportunities group - yes, there was Rotherham, but there was also Savile, Stuart Hall, etc. There were the Cologne attacks, there's rape by white frat boys on American campuses. There's right wing rapists and rapists who are darlings of the left (Arthur Koestler, anyone?)

Even when there are independent male witnesses (the Brock Turner case) the attacker can get away with a mere slap on the wrist.

frogsoup · 06/02/2018 17:42

Are you about to call us sheeple next? You have some interesting insights buried in there, but as for the international conspiracies and immigrants coming for your kids, bacofoil hat is exactly the phrase that springs to mind, sorry.

infamousT · 06/02/2018 17:31

HairyBallTheorem

'BBC fact checker'.

Really? Hilarious you would believe anything that comes out of propaganda central.

They don't even bother logging the ethnicity of sex crime perps over there now. The internet is very, very big. You have to go looking for the truth - it does NOT get delivered to you.

The BBC lie. They are paid to by the EU.

Don;t bother searching through Google.... they are in on the act.

You are what's known as a 'normie'. Plenty of us out here in the deep ocean know.... the BBC has you in a paddling pool. Perhaps you prefer it that way.

BBC fact checker on "Is Malmo the rape capital of Europe?" (Short answer: no.)

To their list of statistical/reporting/definition issues making the figures look higher than other countries, I'd add the following one. Suppose a woman is in an abusive relationship, where her partner repeatedly rapes her. In the UK, that would be counted as one rape for statistical purposes (though probably not on the charge sheet or in deciding sentencing); in Sweden every instance would be counted separately.

Don't get me wrong - I was as outraged as the next woman by the Guardian's appalling non-reporting of Cologne (and I genuinely think taharrush gamea, as a form of socially sanctioned, collectively practised "correctional rape" is a new phenomenon in Europe - incidentally some of the most interesting discussions of the phenomenon I've seen have come out of Egypt, where women and men are trying to fight against the practice). But the idea that crazed immigrants are boosting rape figures massively is simply incorrect. Sadly, the indigenous male population are no slouches in that department.

MadamMinacious · 06/02/2018 17:15

I agree with you too frog (I boldly shortened your name there). I think InfamousT has some great points regarding the trans movement but I don't agree with all of it. Which is fine, I don't agree with everything my friends or OH say either.

frogsoup · 06/02/2018 17:12

I quite agree that there are likely some dubious - even sinister - things going on under the surface of this. But linking them to Islam and immigration, global conspiracy theories, and talking about postmodernism as the root of all evil is just nuts, sorry.

MadamMinacious · 06/02/2018 17:08

I know what you mean Frogsoup but after listening to the podcast I mentioned above I did wonder why some of these wealthy people were so invested in this movement. I would be lying if I didn't suspect some ulterior motive - I sincerely doubt it is altruism alone. That said I don't think it is a plot to bring down western civilisation but I do think the motives are not purely about trans acceptance or rights as we have been sold it.

frogsoup · 06/02/2018 16:46

I'm sorry but this thread is starting to un-peak-trans me - well, not really, but seriously, some of our allies in this don't exactly do the cause any favour. Wtf is this nonsense about Sweden, Islam and immigration? And 'the cesspit of postmodernism', really? Hmm I totally agree that the extremes of trans activism and self-ID are seriously worrying, but starting to talk about it in the context of the downfall of western civilisation makes us easy to dismiss as complete tin-foil-hatters.

GuardianLions · 06/02/2018 16:43

A real eh? moment.

Exactly!

I can't work it out. Are they just pissed off their mum stopped breastfeeding them or something?

Raging babies.

Datun · 06/02/2018 16:35

And the terminology of 'gate-keepers of womanhood' by transactivists is pretty much identical

The number of times I have seen men turn on a dime.

From having relatively vitriol free conversation, to them saying things like you fucking bitches you just think you're an elite club that no one can enter.

Really, really left field.

Which leaves most women reeling from complete incomprehension.

A real eh? moment.

All the more understandable then they are desperate to be represented in feminism, whilst wanting to do bugger all about the goals of feminism.

I guess it's a 'members only' club. And it infuriates them that they are excluded.

Joe

The cotton ceiling thing, do trans people with dicks really expect lesbians to have penis in vagina sex with them? Honestly? Im bewildered.

I won't subject you to some of the more horrifying, online nonsense about this.

But a thread was started on here about the very subject, with lesbians being contributors. Telling their story.

GuardianLions · 06/02/2018 16:33

I think a lot of them started out as nerdy incel MRA types.

It makes me wonder if the socially confrontational beard/eyeshadow brigade are doing it in a calculated way in their own minds, a bit like gaining ground by moving the battlefront further into the 'enemy territory'..

Ereshkigal · 06/02/2018 16:24

I should imagine it's far more to do with the sexual gatekeeping they think women are intent on.

I think a lot of them started out as nerdy incel MRA types. They never lose it.
