Here's my post replying to Moth
Thats an interesting article moth. Best not on the board or MRAs would be all over it!
I was wondering today, hopefully, if the news about darts getting rid of the girls means the overton window is shifting and maybe p0rn will become less acceptable?
If not all this hooha about F1 girls and the presidents club is just tinkering on the edges.

Oh man...i just tried to pm this but it didnt work

I hope the following message isnt speaking out of turn woman

woman

I have only ever said to one person in RL life what I'm about to type

My mum died of cancer in 2000, it was sunday late afternoon and i was alone with her

My brother and husband were due to go back to work on the monday and as i had a small one visiting would have been a bit more difficult

So i said when i thought she was sleeping something along the lines of ' if you need to go it had best be today' and then she died

Ive felt guilty for years but the one person i told in RL said that I shouldn't be upset as i had given her 'permission' to leave us and given her peace

Those wise words have done no good for my guilt whatsoever...but i think she was right

I am sorry this is happening to you, it's incredibly difficult Thanks

Hey, what are pubs for - this one does tea and sympathy as well as drowning your sorrows. Brew

WomaninGreen · 08/05/2018 16:39

Waddle you haven't spoken put of turn at all
In fact I was worried I had but it's not a topic I can raise with friends and family
Yes, I think she will need "permission".

But, she is also on a lot of meds after a procedure and neither of us react well to meds. We get really weird mental reactions as well as physical.

She's regretting the procedure, she wasn't strong enough to have it but these days I think you need to be about 95 before the doctors factor that in. She's nearly 80.

Do feel free to say other stuff, pub goers, I'm grateful for the chance to talk here but have no desire to stifle general chat. Smile

Waddlelikeapenguin · 08/05/2018 16:11

I missed part of my post

Woman
My mum did a fair bit of end of life nursing & she always says there are people who need permission to leave (to be told the people they love are safe & well and will be looked after when they are gone) - I wonder if this is what your Dad means? I hope he doesnt mean it badly.

I desperately hope I havent spoken out of turn & if I have please accept my unreserved apologies Flowers

Waddlelikeapenguin · 08/05/2018 15:58

WomaninGreen · 07/05/2018 18:15

My mummy is still in the hospital and she's so frail and sad.

Sorry, I'll pull myself together when I go back in there.

WomaninGreen · 07/05/2018 09:39

Haven't had mint choc chip for ages, yum.

Took a sleeping pill. Yum Grin

ErrolTheDragon · 07/05/2018 07:46

It's superior mint choc chip - no artificial green colouring, and very dark chocolate.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 07/05/2018 01:19

WomaninGreen

Ice cream gratefully accepted
Why is it grey though?

Ermmm...ah well....ooh no it's not grey it's a black & white picture of strawberry icecream Grin do you even like strawberry it could be mint or something

Hope it's been cool enough to sleep well.

ReluctantCamper · 06/05/2018 23:27

I was very sad that the MRA got zapped so quickly. I was rather hoping to be inexcusably rude to someone that deserves it. I find I have rather a lot of steam to let off at the moment....

Ofspartacus · 06/05/2018 23:11

Anyone else a bit sad that the mods are so on it tonight? I've got my best skincare tips from those threads!

WomaninGreen · 06/05/2018 20:47

No idea how "everyone" became the word autocorrect just made up Confused

WomaninGreen · 06/05/2018 20:46

Ice cream gratefully accepted
Why is it grey though?

Yes I've lived in a period property once, never again. It's just always a bit stunning how hot it is in this flat. We have to reassure everibem including men, that they are not menopausal or having some sort of sudden illness.

then we go to other people's places and really notice a difference.

Alas no room for portable air con unit but hey ho, certainly hope not to be here forever!

Waddlelikeapenguin · 06/05/2018 11:45

Like missmoney it takes until august for the house to warm up (& even then there's no guarantee as this is scotland Grin )
I wont swap though! I hate being hot.

Lots of icecream woman? Glitterball that's a scoop of grey icecream that is....

MissMoneyPlant · 06/05/2018 11:13

WomaninGreen
Swop with me if you like... Victorian property so it's chilly inside despite being warm outside. But then you have to cope with the freezing cold for 6+ months of the year. Grin

FermatsTheorem · 05/05/2018 22:53

Oh no! The Outlet caffeine is no more! (It's a long time since I lived in that neck of the woods but I'm saddened to hear that).

WomaninGreen · 05/05/2018 22:18

Anyone else in a boiling hot flat?

It's awful but ever since living here I want a cool summer. Just hope it's not as hot as last year.

MrsWooster · 05/05/2018 19:13

fermat that cafe has gone, I'm afraid. Old people's flats now- so prob still plenty of nice cups of tea around but fewer bikers. Probably.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 05/05/2018 18:57

I didnt want a name change i wanted a nice holiday!!

Oh waiting

That might just be me projecting
