Thats an interesting article moth. Best not on the board or MRAs would be all over it!
I was wondering today, hopefully, if the news about darts getting rid of the girls means the overton window is shifting and maybe p0rn will become less acceptable?
If not all this hooha about F1 girls and the presidents club is just tinkering on the edges.

bit hungover this morning. Met a really nice lady at the evening thing, for once she's local.

normally in London you meet someone you'd have drink with and they live at precisely the further point of a London map (from me) that's geographically possible.

Does anyone else here find all this battling just - takes it toll?

I have personal stresses going on - life, work, health issues etc, trying to engage with activism IRL - and online FWR/Twitter just feels stressful and a constant fight. Maybe I just need to take time out from online for my own mental health, probably, but it feels like abandoning the sisterhood to do so.

I don’t know if I’m asking for permission to disengage or just solidarity that this is all just fucking hard. It’s that old Greer quote of realising just how much women are hated. It’s difficult to deal with.

I do think you've almost apologised for being white a couple of times - and you really don't need to that, but maybe I misunderstood you!

I am still very appreciative that you posted that. I think a couple of posters are going a bit off piste which is a pity.

on a totally different note...

people complaining about their DC for no reason, even when "light hearted", really gets on my wick. Why would you slag someone off when you are the one of the two people who brought them into the world in the first place?

I found her insulting towards MN regulars including me on the white feminism thread. And it's made me wonder what kind of things she says to trans women in other circs. Might explain some of their vitriol.

It certainly has made it hard for me to want to part with any more cash for her crowdfunder despite agreeing with its aims
