I have been saying for days this situation could split political parties, i do not want this but it is time to take it to the public. I have just joined the Labour party because of Jennifer, the party should be proud she has inspired a working class stay at home mum to get involved.

Wait and see what JJ finds out about the Gofundme stuff. And the clarification that the LP comes up with about AWS. There may be no need for a legal challenge at all.

It isn't just about today. We don't need to win today.

We need to play the long game, unlike the Twitter numpties who have ranted and raved which resulted in increased donations to a cause that they loathe. Dear God, the idiocy of these people.

Time for cool heads.

Good point, teardrop - knew I'd missed something.

And I did miss that about Robin Ince! I get a warm glow when someone comes out as gender critical. 'Slovely.

(why have I posted the same thing three times? Argh, wish they would give the forum an overhaul. It creaks at the edges something rotten).

It amazes me the amount of scrutiny they are able to give to things like this. Surely there have been donations made to other fund raisers in joke names of famous people. I've never seen this much fuss made ever about anything.

I donated in my own name though but was tempted to donate again using the name "Pink News led me here". Do you think that would have been allowed?

Hi Chincy I think it might be time to go to the press - I know that Jennifer James doesn't want to harm the image of the labour party, but this is now bigger than the campaign itself.

We need Professor Brian Cox to now explain to the world that Men are men, women are women and to pipe the fuck down.

Interestingly, the angle that the NHS are now not offering screening to transpeople, which is only going to harm transpeople in the long run, is a good angle to point out the stupidity of the GRA.

Please tell everyone about this situation and keep donating, i can not re donate and i am gutted. Feel like my freedom of choice of who i wish to support and represent me has been curtailed

All Monroe has done is get some donations refunded to people who will no doubt donate again.

I did donate again using the same card (with different name and email) and it did go through. Anonymous of course.

Fact is, even if I do get refunded again, I'll get DH to make the donation on his card, the great old Terf that he is.

(in as much as any of the theatre of absurdist bullshit that identity politics has mired us all in can ever make sense)

I mentioned this at work today- a colleague who i previously held such respect for thinks LM is and i quote 'an amazing warrior' and has had a righteous struggle.... Of course i went back and extra donated to this not promoted on mn gofundme. .

Fortheloveofscience I was feeling a bit downcast. Then I realised that people are still reading/liking/retweeting what I have said on twitter and the QC is looking very spineless but admits he is still pretty much on side - and then i upped my donation, the crowdfunder has now crept up to 992 donors - it is all okay.

Just a blip. And these TRAs have gone into overdrive!
