Can we have a thread about how much of a knob Ralf Little is

I don’t know how many of you have seen the thread- it’s mentioned on the go fund me post, but it is getting more and more hideous every time he posts!
This guy is on another planet of ignoring women’s voices. I think it’s more infuriating because he presents himself as this right on lefty liberal, well his true (misogynistic) colours are showing now.
Can anyone do a proper link for me please, thank you

Looking at wiki:

"After the original run of The Royle Family, he was cast in another sitcom, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (or Two Pints), as Jonny Keogh. The first series ran from February 2001, and the programme ran for nine series in total. During an interview for This Morning in September 2007 Little said that he would not be returning for the next series due to an overwhelming schedule. His character was subsequently killed off. In 1999 Little played the Star of Bethlehem in the ITV comedy drama The Flint Street Nativity.
In December 2000, Little played Wishee Washee in the ITV Panto Aladdin, which was filmed in the New Wimbledon Theatre."

Ditching 2 pints seems like not such an awesome decision now somehow Confused

He is an actor who's been in one very well loved sitcom and another which I also enjoyed very much.

People know him mainly from the first prog which was called the royle family.

Supporting women whilst supporting erosion of their rights. Makes huge sense!

It does if you're a superior, paternal numpty who thinks he's going to be there to demonstrate for what women actually need in his male superior opinion, while kindly providing a competent, loving authority to hush and redirect the silly girls who keep saying silly things about their supposed 'legal rights' and 'female experience' and make sure no one listens to them. Tedious and offensive as it's clueless. He's actually enacting beautifully why men have no business in womens' spaces - because they take over, have an innate sense of superiority, want to redefine what women should think and should want, and feel a God-given right to discipline, curb and direct women to carry out their own personal goals.

Ralf, frankly, fuck that.

As for 'I'll be on the next women's march....' Oh please don't bother Ralf.

Supporting women whilst supporting erosion of their rights. Makes huge sense!

I invited him not to come.

EsmesRedPetticoat · 19/01/2018 11:08

Someones it’s possible! Are you from the greater Manchester area?

ALittleBitOfButter · 19/01/2018 11:05

Oh right. He seems to be quite well known and i couldn't glean why!

EamonnWright · 19/01/2018 10:48

I'm not British. Who is this Ralf fellow exactly

Has been on a couple of shows but he seems to mainly play in charity football matches. His views are worthless really but it's 2018, and Twatter gives everyone a platform.

nauticant · 19/01/2018 10:47

"ralf" is a dialect word meaning weasel. So, literally, "little weasel".

ALittleBitOfButter · 19/01/2018 10:46

Almost like he has been cowed into submission from one viewpoint to a complete turnaround in a matter of hours...

Very worrying from someone in a profession who is meant to be able to read text thoroughly and comment on said text with a degree of authority and understanding. Not randomly fire off tweets on twitter and then roll over like a cowed dog when challenged Sad

Also volte face from Labour NEC.

SeaWitchly · 19/01/2018 08:07

What about Jolyon Maugham, a barrister no less who tweeted this -

EsmesRedPetticoat I’m wondering if we know each other now!

HattiesBackpack · 18/01/2018 17:28

Aw dammit! I thought we had made a victory today. Although i think the campaign has made a lot of people aware of the current transactivist movement and some of the dangerous people behind it, so that’s got to be a good thing.

Right-on male c-list sleb turns out to be virtue-signalling brocialist.

Plus ca change...

QuentinSummers · 18/01/2018 17:23

hattie it's not an official position. Post has been removed from Facebook awaiting "formal clarification" Sad

DeleteOrDecay · 18/01/2018 17:21

He's a total cunt. Really pisses me off how men feel it's their place to tell women what makes a woman a woman. Fuck right off with that shit.

Patronising git.

nauticant · 18/01/2018 17:10

No. It'll be "this is a small pause on our march to Freedom while the law catches up". Those people will only stop when there are no points awarded for virtue signalling.

HattiesBackpack · 18/01/2018 17:05

Now we have an official position from Labour I wonder if there will be any backtracking from the likes of Ralf and the other right on brocialists?

Would be good if some of the young women who are have been vehemently defending the ‘kill all terfs’ position would actually sit and think about this now!

thegirl

I lifted it from the first twitter link, its from someone called Conway

I just thought it made sense

All the woman being sympathetic and welcoming and then when they say 'hold on this doesn't seem right' they are automatically wrong and bigoted

QuentinSummers · 18/01/2018 16:54

That Grace Petrie thread is awful. She's thick as you like.
kill all TERFs” does not actually indicate that TERF is a slur. We wouldn’t say “kill all women” meant that “women” was a slur, would we?
No, we would say it's extreme misogyny.
But anyway saying "Kill all TERFS" is like saying "Kill all niggers". Extremely pejorative and it is a slur against women.

also “kill all TERFs,” while I’m not condoning it, is an expression by trans people of anger and fear towards an ideology whose philosophy is to fight against their existence. I would liken it, as a lesbian, to me saying “kill all homophobes”. There is context which matters.
It's not ok to threaten to kill any group of humans, even if you viscerally disagree with them, even if you don't really mean it. In the case of other phrases, it could be prosecuted as an incitement of hatred. For some reason it seems ok when aimed at women.

What an idiot. It's a good job I don't tweet.

Thegirlinthefireplace · 18/01/2018 16:46

Who said this Rufus?

Thegirlinthefireplace · 18/01/2018 16:46

Who said that Rufus?

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 18/01/2018 16:37

Oh now this i liked

I’m no expert but it seems hasty 2 assume many women with track records in unions, teaching, childpsychology, health & socialcare + yrs spent struggling 4 social justice are 100% wrong on an issue affecting them more than it does me

Vicxy · 18/01/2018 15:00
