Widening the bandwidth of being male

I posted this quote from cbb on the ginuwine thread:
Andrew said (about dragging up) that as a “heterosexual male from the north” he wanted to “break that gender barrier between a heterosexual male drinking beer down the pub called Dan and Dave, and bring in this heterosexual male who’s comfortable with himself…”

So, I thought it would be fun to create a thread for us all to post our favourite examples of this.

Noel Fielding does a good job of widening the male bandwidth.

John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough. Very accomplished soldier and ancestor of Winston.

He is. Such a shame he's not in there (but I think he's too sensible!)

Grayson Perry was on radio 3's Private Passions at the weekend - fascinating interview, he comes across as such a great bloke, and he picked some of my favourite pieces of music.

Great additions!
I'm also going to throw in Robert Webb because his book on this was excellent!

Much of the late 70s/early 80s?

I don't understand why people (people out there on the net in the media) are acting as if a man in makeup / "feminine" attire is anything new... Are memories really so short? It's weird.
