I certainly do, but in a different way to them.

They reckon its transphobic and making a joke out of trans people. I see it as the business accepting that Jenner is actually a w2oman now, so surely this sis about as 'inclusive' as it gets?

Where I think its kind of offensive to have 2 male loos, which is what this is saying really. Also think having the 'normal' male one mixed with disabled is pretty wrong, what if a disabled person was female? Having a male person on a female loo door is just silly, and if they want to be inclusive, they should really just make it all unisex.

But yeah, apparently wherever this is, that has tried their very best to be trans-inclusive...is transphobic. The word means nothing these days does it..

PA HA HA HA HA HA

Oh I needed that. Bruce Jenner was never a man? And has had his privacy invaded? Oh my giddy aunt.

As others have said, Caitlyn Jenner has actually been pretty reasonable on this matter. In an interview she admitted she often forgets and calls herself Bruce. But the rest of the world have to forget a medal winning athlete was ever a man, following his transition in a blaze of worldwide publicity.

These people are comedy gold.

You missed out the important part of that

"In reality, science suggests that transgender people experience gender dysphoria because they experience their gender identity psychologically, not just physically. In other words, Caitlyn Jenner was a woman before she began changing her body and name."

It's SCIENCE doncha know. And you don't want to be against science do you!?

Obviously it's still nonsense, because it presumes that the dysphoria manifested itself at birth, which is ridiculous. It might only have started last week, how can we possibly know?

CoteDAzur · 06/11/2017 14:29

"Black is white. Up is down. And men are women."

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

If Orwell only knew how precisely the Newspeak in his 1984 would come true.

CoteDAzur · 06/11/2017 14:26

"Caitlyn Jenner was a woman before she began changing her body and name."

Really?

Was Jenner a woman when he fathered children the old-fashioned way, through PIV sex?

Sentimentallentil · 06/11/2017 14:19

Also they say if you disagree comment sections below and then say they’re deleting all comments without reading them. Obviously wasn’t expecting reasoned comments then.

pisacake · 06/11/2017 14:15

That blogger seems a bit thick. There is a reply by 'John Stuart Mill XX' about what it is to be a woman, and the blogger seems to think that because she is posting as 'John', she must be a man.

I found this, about 'transphobia'

Well worth a read for the women of mumsnet Grin It concludes..

And that’s why the Mumsnet TERFs aren’t real women – just angry, bitter and twisted trolls who should address their own anger and issues instead of slagging off other people like teenage keyboard warriors.

After a bunch oif self indulgent twaddle.

andiepasdedeux.wordpress.com/2017/03/18/mumsnet-terfs-youre-not-real-women/

JemimaBerry · 06/11/2017 11:21

This is better.

DamnItall · 06/11/2017 10:54

Yes it's saying 'if you're a bloke in a dress use this door, if you're a bloke in shorts use this door, women you can fuck off'

Transphobic my arse.

Stupid fuckers.

This ^^

pisacake · 05/11/2017 19:05

Yes they've always felt female, even as a newborn baby, even when they only decided last week. That's the foundation stone for their ideology. It's why being transgender is very popular with paedophiles and sex offenders, because they can erase their offending history by becoming a woman. gendertrender.wordpress.com/2015/09/13/gender-identity-specialists-warn-of-ever-increasing-tide-of-transwoman-sex-offenders/

Datun · 05/11/2017 19:02

Seriously do these people even listen to themselves as words come out of their mouths?

Nooo. Black is white. Up is down. And men are women.

Sentimentallentil · 05/11/2017 18:58

So when exactly did he feel like a woman when he was Bruce? Was it when he was winning meddles in a male sport? Was it when he was fathering his children? Or being a member of an all male golf club??

Seriously do these people even listen to themselves as words come out of their mouths??

pisacake · 05/11/2017 18:55

It's obviously utterly nonsensical to refer to people who were representing themselves as men as women. So a man who raped a girl when he was working as a male teacher should not be referred to as she, even if he represents as female now.

I mean this poor victim of a paedophile who was only fined £500 and not sentenced to prison or rehabilitation because there are no treatment courses for women

www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/victim-vile-bondage-paedophile-tells-8608834

is interviewed about his abuse but has to suffer the indignity of the newspaper reporting abuse by a man as saying "urinate in her mouth and humiliate her by hitting her then-male genitals.".

What in the actual fuck? Why are we blindly accepting this NONSENSE that all these people were actually born female and most of their lives never even happened, or everyone was mistaken for 50 years or whatever.

It is RIDICULOUS. It defies basic logic. If you are describing a male-bodied person abusing someone with their male genitals you use male pronouns. The rapist doesn't get to redefine his abuse. Fuck that. The whole 'dead-naming' thing is bullshit.

It's totally nonsensical but people just swallow it because they don't understand and they are terrified of being called transphobic for asking people to explain how the fuck any of it makes any sense.

It's one thing to claim that you transition from male to female but quite another to claim that after transitioning, your prior life MAGICALLY NEVER HAPPENED. I mean fucking hell. Emperor's new genitals or what?

The theory is that being male or female is not a categorisation of biology, but of a feeling in your head.

Therefore because trans-lwomen have always felt female, it means they’ve always been female. They were assigned male because of their biology, but their biology is wrong.

Neatly ignoring the fact that male and female are categories actually based on biology.

It’s recategorising the meaning of the word male and female.

And is pushed, mostly, by men who transition late, who have autogynephilia. They are so aroused by the idea of themselves as a woman, and it’s so compelling, that they want people to think they have always felt this way. That they actually are women.

Homosexual transsexuals, don’t tend to think this way, nor say it.

‘She was never a man’

Arghhhhhuufgfhfhhhhuuuurrrrrrrrgggh

Envy not envy

Wow MN is posting on its own - twitter.com/DomDiFurio/status/925142834428239878 is the twitter thread I saw, with many strong opinions.

Jenner himself doesn't actually believe that, and says that his career as Bruce should be reported using 'Bruce' and 'he'

Yes, one of the ironies of Jenner having become a trans poster girl (literally) is that - though he sounds like a massive twat in many other respects - he is actually fairly reasonable about biology vs identity and admits to having benefited from male privilege for years. Lots of TRAs hate him, but don't dare be too vocal about it, because he has also done so much to raise the trans profile,

HornyTortoise · 05/11/2017 18:49

Posted before I linked too...failing today

Facebook posts as far back as 2012.

The writer seems to think that 2012 was a long time ago, bless

Sorry, been reading the other long thread where we are all accused of being transphobic Grin

BelligerentGardenPixies · 05/11/2017 18:45

"Turning a transwomen's transition into a spectacle" - I'm pretty sure Jenner did that themselves, so that horse has bolted.

pisacake · 05/11/2017 18:38

Jenner himself doesn't actually believe that, and says that his career as Bruce should be reported using 'Bruce' and 'he'.

So that's even more reason why putting Bruce on the men's door is not offensive to transpeople.

However the TRAs insist that not only were they 'women from birth', even if they only decided to change last week, but that the name never happened if the first place. So they are objecting on his behalf, even though he doesn't think that way.

This is the line of thought that leads to fuckwitter like this:

overland.org.au/2017/02/still-failing-trans-people/

"Last month, when reporting about Evie Amati, a young trans woman accused of attacking two customers at a 7/11 in Enmore, multiple news outlets failed to adhere to any of the current guidance on respectful gender reporting. Both News.com.au and Daily Mail Australia violated Amati’s privacy, focusing less on the alleged crime that had taken place and instead trawling through social media accounts to uncover Amati’s previous name and photos from before her transition. Both reports included screenshots from Amati’s Facebook posts as far back as 2012.

Neither of the papers demonstrates the relevance of Amati’s gender identity in the alleged attack."

"Publishing the previous name of a trans person is a practice commonly referred to as deadnaming – at best an offensive oversight and at worst a complete violation of someone’s privacy."

This is despite the fact that said (attempted) axe killer's own lawyer blamed his being an (attempted) axe killer on his hormones, because obviously female hormones are the reason why women are so fucking crazy.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4104642/Evie-Amati-accused-Sydney-7-Eleven-axe-attack-born-boy-named-Karl.html

So we are supposed to respect the privacy of violent men by pretending that they are actually violent women. And then when it turns out that they are actually violent men, well we can just blame the whole thing on FEMALE hormones, I mean everyone knows there are murders every month caused by women getting their period and being hormonal, right?

So the 'progressive' magazine wants us NOT to report that the violent criminal who attacked a woman in an unprovoked attack is transgender, because his human rights are more important than those of the victim (cis scum), even when his defence is 'I did it because I'm transgender'.

Stupid fuckwits.

Sentimentallentil · 05/11/2017 18:25

So the argument is that Jenner has always been a woman????
Eh? Confused can someone please explain this to me?

SelmaAndJubjub · 05/11/2017 18:16

Twitter is confused. If Jenner has always really been a woman - as TRAs contend - then how could it be transphobic to show him as his younger self? By TRA logic, the only people who ought to be upset here are the bar's male patrons as the photos indicate that both toilets are for women.
