This year, the number of murderers who are transgender is higher in the UK than the number of murder victims.

And then there's attempted murders and current murderers declaring themselves trans while behind bars:

Does the fact that MTFs are victimizers in these obscenely violent criminal acts more frequently than they are victims change how lawmakers will see their claims of eternal victimhood? I doubt it. How many male murderers will have to be given elective surgery at taxpayer expense and housed with women (far less likely to be in prison for violent crime) before someone takes a long, hard look at the reality of the situation?

I think what we think is more important than how we look, yes.

Course you do, Malcolm.

I think what we think is more important than how we look, yes.
In that case women who think men are never born female are as important as men who think they were born female. We are both thinking.

And as my consent is mine to give and not yours you have to defer to what I think in this case. I don't consent to males who think they were born female being given the legal ability to ignore my consent.

Datun · 14/10/2018 10:58

Ereshkigal Brew

It is this type of thinking that has allowed men to rule over women for so long. You are biologically feeble and different. Therefore can't be what you want.

Quite a few TRAs say this. It's incomprehensible to them that women can't just BE equal. Because their privilege blinds them to female reality.

They can identify as female and walk around being listened to and dominating, after all. Women should just take a leaf. Fools. Crampingly confined ninnies at the mercy of their self perception.

Fearandsurprise · 14/10/2018 10:57

F4 I really still can’t see which feelings of female born women are the same as transgender women.

Hyppolyta · 14/10/2018 10:56

Feminist your argument is basically sex segregation needs to end because of how some males feel.

What about how the females feel? Are our feelings taken into account, or is it just males that matter?

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:53

I think what we think is more important than how we look, yes.

LemonJello · 14/10/2018 10:52

For fucks sake!

There’s a difference between acknowledging material differences between male and female bodies and attaching a moral judgement to these differences!

You have just demonstrated zero understanding of feminism there 😂

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:51

I've dropped no pretence. You misinterpret me. Giving ridiculous examples doesn't prove your case. Our actions define us. If I commit a crime of course I am guilty of it.

nottakingthisanymore · 14/10/2018 10:49

Are you honestly saying we can think away our physical differences?

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 10:48

I'm glad "Feminist" has dropped that particular pretence. Sometimes it fools the unwary.

nottakingthisanymore · 14/10/2018 10:48

What we are doing is acknowledging our biology as it is that which society uses to oppress us. I can imagine I’m something else but it isn’t going to stop me being paid less than a man or overlooked for promotion because I’m of child bearing age. It isn’t going to stop me having periods or getting pregnant. Our biology matters.

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 10:47

Lets release all the prisoners who think theyre innocent, and allow all those who think theyre brain surgeons to perform surgery.

That's basically the Action for Trans Health manifesto executive summary, isn't it?

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:47

Mock all you like. It is this type of thinking that has allowed men to rule over women for so long. You are biologically feeble and different. Therefore can't be what you want.

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 10:46

And that's me who forgot to quote, not Datun! I may just go back to bed Smile

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 10:45

Sorry Datun forgot to quote properly Blush

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 10:45

Also if I had a child who was trans I would be grabbing the suicide debunked articles with both hands. Relieved, grateful and reading them avidly.

Was reminded on another thread today of TRA Rebecca Root's revealing slip of the tongue on Victoria Derbyshire earlier in the year when Rebecca said about the trans suicide stats that they were "in our favour".

AspieAndProud · 14/10/2018 10:44

Can you fly, F4?

Or are you letting your body define who and what you are?

nottakingthisanymore · 14/10/2018 10:44

It is the confines and definitions established by society that have limited my freedom to define myself in the way I wish.

Society is stopping you expressing yourself how you want? Yes! I want a society where people express themselves how they want. But expressing oneself and changing material reality are different things.

FermatsTheorem · 14/10/2018 10:43

Durr... my brain is part of my body. Unless you're a Cartesian dualist. Oh, hang on a moment, you just quoted Descartes. I guess you are. A Cartesian dualist who thinks they know about neuroscience.

[Settles back with the popcorn to watch more unhingedness unfold before me. Beats watching DS and his friend play Fortnite.]

Datun · 14/10/2018 10:42

It is the confines and definitions established by society that have limited my freedom to define myself in the way I wish.

I thought it was your child?

Hyppolyta · 14/10/2018 10:42

No I agree its amusing.

Lets release all the prisoners who think theyre innocent, and allow all those who think theyre brain surgeons to perform surgery.

My teen thinks he can drive, how can the police invalidate his identity just because hes 14? Grin

Fearandsurprise · 14/10/2018 10:42

F4 So we agree there are societal confines. And we can all have different feelings.
But I still can’t see which feelings of female born women are the same as transgender women?

AspieAndProud · 14/10/2018 10:41

I think therefore I am. It is the confines and definitions established by society that have limited my freedom to define myself in the way I wish.

You think therefore you are in as much as you are a thinking being. It does not follow that you are what you think you are.

Biology has placed limits on what you are. You can not fly by identifying as a bird.

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:41

I'm sorry you all feel so defined by your bodies and not your brains. It says a lot!

Datun · 14/10/2018 10:40

Thanks Ereshkigal it's so tedious havjng to refute the same stuff over and over.

I'd also like to point out that threatening to kill yourself either because you can't access female facilities, or to make people agree with you is abusive.

As is recommending women get locked up for disagreement.

Also if I had a child who was trans I would be grabbing the suicide debunked articles with both hands. Relieved, grateful and reading them avidly.

Not posting easily refuted bogus surveys and recommendations by organisations who use convicted doctors.
