Not that any rape in any circumstance isn't horrendous but yet another horrific case, a 14 year old girl raped in a park in the middle of the day. That this kind of thing goes on and receives so little coverage is abhorrent. I'm so angry at the lives of women and girls being ruined like this, because these men choose to attack. I'm not articulating this too well but am just enraged.

Raped in broad daylight as opposed to what? At night? In the home? Whilst drunk?

I find this disturbing. And what has her age got to do with it?

We need to have specific lessons at school to tackle this now, for both sexes, and to include self defense for girls in PE.

It's a horrendous attack no matter the location. Yet another attack on a teenage girl by a violent man with complete contempt for women and girls.

It is horrific. I heard it on the BBC radio news this morning, it is getting coverage and a description is out there.

What did cross my mid though was that it was a considered place to undertake the attack. It's misleading to think because of the name and proximity to Greenwich this would be a bustling park. During school hours and term-time it would likely be quite unpopulated. It is absolutely surrounded by playing and school fields too.

I hope that they catch this clearly very dangerous man, and that this poor young woman can find the strength and support to nail him.
