I think there are multiple problems, on a whole society is going down the pan and here are some reasons why

• sex is promoted everywhere, its constant, its in the media, we are judged on how we look, how much and what type of sex were having, porn etc. sex is no longer seen as a loving respectful act but as a commodity to which some feel entitled, the media even without porn treats women as sex objects- e.g. Page 3
• breakdown of religion, whether you believe or not it used to serve as a moral compass which may have been a deterrent from violence, rape etc
• people out of employment, drinking, drugs a sense of nihilism, that means people just don't give a crap and do as they please
• weak sentencing and lack of punishment for crime. A disdain for authority in general. No deterrant.

No I'm not a troll. Im a sex worker, mother and girlfriend. I also have very strong opinions on people who try to tarnish an entire industry by labelling the workers victims and the consumers deviant misogynists.
