The BBC's political equivalent of Jeremy Kyle is hosting "has the time come to decriminalise sex work" tomorrow morning.

I'm going to be in the audience; if anyone wants to support the Nordic model voice via twitter please do!

I dont think any of us are transphobic either

Are you having a tantrum?

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 03/04/2017 09:24

Yes I can see that. This place is a bastion of intolerance and hatred. You only need to skim through one of the transphobic threads to see your true colours. People who dislike diversity and cannot tolerate any deviation from your own worldview.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 03/04/2017 09:17

Well some of us

Not all of us

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 03/04/2017 09:13

ome of you are very sensitive around sex and I understand that

Confused

Do you have comprehension problems

No one here cares who you have sex with...we are saying that men who pay for prostitution should be criminalised

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 03/04/2017 08:54

Good guy? Where have I tried to say I am one of those? I am being honest and upfront about what is a selfish, ego driven activity.

Some of you are very sensitive around sex and I understand that. For other people, men and women, we are able to compartmentalise different human activities and cut off emotion driven reactions and just get a kick out of no strings attached sex. Sex with a complete stranger does not always have to be scary. Once you get over the risk factor it is one hell of an adrenaline rush.

You would criminalise the men who think this way and do not share your belief system? That just shows intolerance.

Edsheeranalbumparty · 03/04/2017 08:52

It is just further feminist misandry to think you can criminalise men for wanting sex with women who make it readily available

Awwwww yes poor blokes - all they are trying to do is help a girl earn a crust.

ChocChocPorridge · 03/04/2017 08:33

I am the only person here with first hand experience

You have first hand experience of buying sex, not of selling it. Therefore all you can talk about is the abusive man experience, not the abused woman.

I've been raped by someone I thought was my boyfriend, I've been pressured for sex by men who wanted a shag and didn't want to hear me say no. So I've been on the other side of this. I most certainly do have first hand experience. I can well imagine how it feels to be waiting in my flat for some creepy dude to come and want me to suck his penis, and for me to have to be nice to him so he doesn't hurt me and more than the sex, and to make him think I like him so he comes back and I can pay my rent.

Sounds pretty grim to me - no need of steel doors when poverty has you in a cage anyway.

You continue exploiting women and thinking you're some kind of good guy. We'll continue seeing you for what you are.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 03/04/2017 08:21

No my mistake

It's completely fallen off

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 03/04/2017 08:21

Mask is slipping a bit there

You might just need to adjust it slightly

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 03/04/2017 08:12

This reminds me of when Emma Thompson, the child stealer Kate Winslett and Meryl Streep all protested because Amnesty came out in favour of decriminalisation.

Entitled women, all very successful, out of touch with reality and oblivious as to why all women could not just follow their example and make millions in a nice feminist approved manner.

Selling sex is everywhere. Every country, every culture. It is not a mere cultural thing. Even in a matriarchal society where women had all the power you would still have women using sex for financial gain. It is just further feminist misandry to think you can criminalise men for wanting sex with women who make it readily available.

CharlieSierra · 03/04/2017 07:41

Oh, I thought he just had 'goady fucker' disorder

Surely that's the case?

FritzDonovan · 03/04/2017 00:30

Grin thx lass, I agree with you!

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 03/04/2017 00:29

Sorry, my post was referring to the punter poster obviously, not Fritz

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 03/04/2017 00:27

You make my flesh creep.

FritzDonovan · 03/04/2017 00:25

I honestly think uou should go and get psychiatric assessment, you might find out you have aspergers or a personality disorder or something,
Oh, I thought he just had 'goady fucker' disorder...

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 03/04/2017 00:16

Yes sorry that was just put into stir. With the right person I am happy to hang out after the meeting or go for a meal or drinks. Sex workers can be really switched on and fun to be around. I like them and I respect them enormously. I do not describe them ever in a derogatory manner.

I did a full pysch test 2 years back. 24 on that autism spectrum thingy. No mental illness. I function in normal society and bring in a good salary. Just the impulse thing, lack of inhibition and boundaries. I am a terrible risk taker

GuardianLions · 03/04/2017 00:05

gender that contradicts your earlier do-gooder punter claims about them wanting to chat with you over the time and go to dinner with you etc.
Saying something misogynistic like 'paying for them to leave' is antagonistic on this forum and thread.
I honestly think uou should go and get psychiatric assessment, you might find out you have aspergers or a personality disorder or something, because it is not normal to show your lack of awareness of what is an appropriate thing to disclose about yourself - and I think your one ally has done one, you've also shown an abnormal lack of empathy and its odd that you want to hang out and chat with people who feel hostile towards you.

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 02/04/2017 23:45

That thing about you pay a woman so that she leaves at the end......

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 02/04/2017 23:43

Too many stalkers. I used to do the Lonely Planet forums women's traveller "pissups". I would come away from those with 4-5 numbers.

Then one of them went nutzoid on me. Showed up at my work and then started calling my sister! After that I decided never again and ended up marrying a Parisienne I picked up in Marrakech.

SarcasmMode · 02/04/2017 23:26

I'd say £50 should do it gender - you don't want to charge too much as a first timer.

Why don't you just have ONS?

Or sign up for no strings sex sites?

Same principal without the paying.

GenderEqualityAdvocate · 02/04/2017 23:23

Hmmm I just got asked to stay over next weekend with a female friend who I have shagged on and off for the last 5 years. She messages me when she gets the urge. How much do you think I should charge for a Saturday night? Overnighter? She is French, provencale and 45. With her being a civvie I rarely get my "happy ending" but she usually is happy.

SarcasmMode · 02/04/2017 23:11

Btw I'm a disabled woman and married but if I wasn't, I could get sex just fine thanks Smile

SarcasmMode · 02/04/2017 23:08

Here is a good idea.

Why don't really poor men prostitute themselves? If female clientele is low, you can offer to males.

If it's just a job it's not about your pleasure it's about the customers, so surely this would be a valid option?

They wouldn't like some strange bloke sticking their cock in them and feeling humiliated?

Thank goodness women never feel -- oh wait.

I would also worry by decriminalising it you would put some other issues in like discrimination.

Lacey can't refuse punter x just because he's fat, or black as that's discrimination.

Criminalise the buying, not the selling.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 02/04/2017 22:50

HoldBackTheRain

Lass - sex is part of a loving relationship

We are not talking about "loving relationships" - we are talking about buying sex.

FritzDonovan · 02/04/2017 22:24

Prostitution affects all women. It should not be further legitimised.
