Thank you Jenni Star

KarryHane · 05/03/2017 19:39

Thank you Jenni. Writing that article shouldn't be a brave thing to do, but it was.

You have the support of a huge number of women who are being bullied into silence. I hope your involvement will start a challenge to the TA agenda.

I'm all for supporting individuals, but the trans thing is damaging our children and eroding women's long-fought for rights. Let's talk about this more - campaign for better support for genuinely dysphoric adults and children, but challenge the destructive stereotypes, misogeny and homophopbia that a lot of the trans thing is perpetuating.

Honeyandfizz · 05/03/2017 19:39

Completely agree with her article. Well said!

Well said Jenni Murray and please come on for a web chat soon.

MercyMyJewels · 05/03/2017 19:31

I agree Mary

I am also trans rights' supportive. Supportive of their own rights as a distinct group with their own identity.

But not women's rights or spaces. That is not their's to claim

Me too - thank you, Jenni! You have lots of support here.

shinynewusername · 05/03/2017 19:28

If you support Jenni, please email WH on [email protected] to say so. You can be sure they will be getting lots of anti-Jenni trolling, so make sure they know how many of us support her.

ApocalypseNowt · 05/03/2017 19:27

I am Jenni Murray.

Still nothing much doing on twitter but I saw quite a few posts on the #transcult hashtag....we're not alone!

MaryMorpho · 05/03/2017 19:25

I was so happy to see someone writing a coherent article about how you don't have to be at either extreme on this.

I'm the same, I have respect for people who feel they are trans and think they deserve support, but have some reservations about the way things are going at the moment, and I don't like the polarised extreme views. It was a very sensible and balanced article and said things I have been thinking when faced with either view. My Dsis is on the pro-trans extreme and I've seen the opposite extreme on here, and I don't think either of them is very helpful in a massively complicated situation.

It didn't even occur to me she could be sacked for what she said. I will be fuming if that happens.
