You're correct of course Amy, and I had resolved to do the same with them, but I am human and fallible and they piss me off.

Also, if they're attacking me, then they're leaving someone else alone, and I just think they're a joke.

I know what you mean, amy, and I do sort of agree with you. BUT I also think it is important to challenge crap behaviour and male territorial pissings on the board, and to show that it just won't fly here. Ignoring can be seen as sort of tacit acceptance.

There are always more people lurking than reading, and while taking apart anti feminist postings probably won't ever change the view of the authors of them, it might just productive for other people reading.

I am young and didn't want to say anything but hoping my input is alright - I don't know why anyone responds to the blanant trolling/men attempting wind ups in other threads. I ignored certain posters from the first time I joined and they started criticising and attacking me last week. If everyone ignored them, they'd go away. All they wish to do is derail threads and attack women/feminists.

Yeah, but cartesian or polar? Surely, polar coordinates are more inclusive (being a whole circle of 360 degrees) and more womanly (a wrapped all-enclosing, nurturing circle), rather than the judgey (positive and negative), so linear and frankly phallic axes of the rectilinear cartesian system? Come on laydees, you can't seriously expect to win your dungarees with such a patriarchal system of reference..........................

I'm coming to the conclusion that some/most of them are actually not very bright (while thinking they know it all). They are usually completely out of their depth. I'm trying hard just to skip their post.
