Buffy doesn't do the talky talky stuff, she's more stabby stabby. Although, I may be confusing her with someone else.

Nrdad1 · 22/10/2016 09:54

So buffy because there's other writings about it. It mean that it no longer needs to be discussed

So you have a sexist and prodigies view of men but that's ok

Nrdad1 · 22/10/2016 09:52

I never mentioned anything about lesbians.

I believe that both sexes, ethnicity and religion should be completely equal. I'm not a woman hater. I am a man yes. So I have never had to deal with the sexist action a woman has to deal with. So what is wrong with asking what needs to change? It is the only way to find out or would you prefer I just assumed I knew what it's like and what needs to change

I knew it. ALL FEMINISTS ARE LESBIANS.

"You know, I've taught logic. I've taught students soundness and completeness theorems for 1st order logic. I've taught them Goedel's incompleteness theorem for 2nd order logic."

MostlyHet · 22/10/2016 09:44

You know, I've taught logic. I've taught students soundness and completeness theorems for 1st order logic. I've taught them Goedel's incompleteness theorem for 2nd order logic.

When I see a man like our OP use the phrase "you're not being logical" what I hear in this context is "women, shut up. I am a man and therefore only my voice should be listened to." It has nothing to do with logic. It has everything to do with what the man believes the power structures in the world should be like.

NameChange30 · 22/10/2016 09:39

Blah blah blah

Nrdad1 · 22/10/2016 09:38

I never said the man should get custody if he hits a woman I asked a question. What my point was going to be was that. If a man hits a woman he is removed for the child's life but if it is a woman who hits a man then the woman still gets custody of the child most the time. This isn't made up that is from personal experience of me and friends. It took along time of fighting for me to have 50/50. When my ex finally realised that she was being unreasonable. Should I have had to fight to be an equal part of his life? No

I never asked you to justify feminism I ask what point you feel need to change for true equality. If you didn't want to answer then you didn't need to but everyone felt the need to be sexist and sarcastic. but I can bet not a single one of you have ever said that a woman should get the same treatment from the justice system as a man does or in custody hearing or support for crisis? There are so many places a woman has better treatment then a man. It appears that you only want equality when it benefit you. That is not true equality that is wanting to be superior and privileged.

How can you ask to be taken seriously if when asked what points need to change. You just give the person asking shit? I'm sorry but it not logical.

became much less fun

NameChange30 · 22/10/2016 09:18

It was fun when we were taking the piss, because much less fun when people started actually engaging with the troll's "arguments".

NameChange30 · 22/10/2016 09:16

Oh dear.

Clearly I picked a good moment to go to bed. The thread quickly turned from amusing to annoying.

I think it might be time to delete it now. MNHQ, pretty please?

It's cute that every man who tries this thinks he's the first.

MostlyHet · 22/10/2016 09:03

Let me try a football analogy (you may not be a footie fan, I am).

You rock up on this forum, with a user name "nrdad" (yup, I worked out with your first post that that was shorthand for "non-resident dad") and demand that we justify feminism.

That's like walking into a pub across the road from White Hart Lane wearing a Milwall shirt and saying "so, justify Spurs' current form to me".

Then you tell us that men who've beaten up their ex should get custody of the children...

That's the moment at which you escalate things by shouting antisemitic abuse in a pub full of Spurs fans.

We know who you are, what you are, what you're doing - we've seen it all before. A million times.

PoldarksBreeches · 22/10/2016 08:49

NRDad just to go back to your question about DV and child residence - you asked whether if a man hits a woman and they split, we think the child should go with the man. What an odd question! If a father perpetrates DV against the mother then the father is an abusive person and needs to be removed from the family home. Why would that father then take the children, who he has abused, with him? Who would think that he should? Apart from men's rights activists that is?

leaveittothediva · 22/10/2016 08:28

Nrdad1

Ok if you go back to the very beginning of this post you should see that I asked a question I may have miss worded it at first which I apologised for and the majority of what I got was sarcastic or sexist comments. You have made a joke of your own cause so well done there ladies.

Btw I don't have a problem with custody we do 50/50 as any decent person would because my ex isn't a man hating nutter.

So I'm obviously sexist for asking a question and getting dragged into the bs. I should have just ignored certain ones but as a sexist. I'm off to find a woman to make my breakfast, sexually gratify me and keep her mouth shut grin

And, there goes the argument. Hard core Feminists are off to find a man to make their breakfast, sexually gratify them, and keep their mouth shut. What ya gonna do.!!.

FreshwaterSelkie · 22/10/2016 08:26

Oh, OP, bless your cotton socks. Do you honestly think you're the first man to come here and demand that the women here cater to you, answer your questions, accept your implicit criticisms and roll out the red carpet for you?

Dude, you're not even the first one this week.

And while you might think you're all objective and open minded, your posts clearly demonstrate that you're not. You obviously think that feminists like to whinge on about irrelevant stuff that you don't think is important, so quite how we are meant to convince you otherwise is beyond me. It's a waste of our time.

Bye then Smile
