I'm sickened tbh.
He announced this morning that he is happy and glad that justice has been served and will not listen to reason.
We have 3 daughters. AngrySad

Thank you MNHQ. I understand that it's very difficult for you when (as I described it in my first report) the troll is trying to "fly under the radar" and stay just the legitimate side of what's okay as a difference of opinion. I'm glad you've made the right call, and I hope Hex feels it's safe to come back to her thread now.

Yes, that's the point, scallops. When a partner has demonstrated they have a fundamentally different set of core moral values and refuses to talk about it, that's going to shake anyone's marriage to the core. And women (and men) are allowed to be upset by this, to question whether the relationship is as good as they thought it was, to question whether this fundamental clash might be symptomatic of a broader problem.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 18/10/2016 17:35

Thank you HQ, I apologise for being rather terse in my last report Blush

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 18/10/2016 17:34

"is an abusive person who would advocate a woman staying in a marriage she doesn't want to be in"

Scallops, some people don't care much about women, do they. And have a rather low opinion of them.

scallopsrgreat · 18/10/2016 17:34

This is not the thread for this debate, zefcal. There are plenty of other threads.

Go away.

I think that this is really telling: "he has a different opinion on a news case which doesn't affect him ..." It doesn't matter that it affects Hex. It's all about how he feels about the case that matters. How Hex feels doesn't enter into it.

It is an abusive person who would advocate a woman staying in a marriage she doesn't want to be in.

DeleteOrDecay · 18/10/2016 17:17

If you don't know how uncommon false accusations for rape actually are and how low the chances are of rape cases even getting to court in the first place let alone a conviction then I suggest you go and educate yourself.

Marbleheadjohnson · 18/10/2016 17:16

You clearly know jack shit about this case as she hasn't accused him of anything.

So I am going to go out on a limb and say that any man (or woman) who thinks a woman who asks the police if her handbag has been handed in deserves this treatment, is a bit of a massive cunt. Not even Ched Evans himself is saying that - even he is on record as saying it is nothing to do with her.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 18/10/2016 17:15

Weirdly, I asked DH whether he was more concerned about being falsely accused of rape or of being raped (being statistically more likely) in his younger days.
He said neither crossed his mind, then or now. Make of that what you will...

There's different opinions, and there's smirking when someone's legal anonymity is broken at a football match. One is a mere difference of opinion, one suggests contempt for women.

Sympathies also OP and to anyone else who can't get a partner to at least appreciate what went on.

he just knows that no decent man would have acted as either footballer did that night... or as the men who stepped forward to tell their tales did!

and CE admttting that he and his mate had had threesomes before and that 'roasting' amongst young footballers is so rife that some clubs are now
including in their curriculum for academy players information on how to treat women.

DeleteOrDecay · 18/10/2016 17:00

No one has lied, you are twisting things to suit your bizarre agenda. I'm done conversing with you and your rape apologist clap trap now.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 18/10/2016 16:59

zefcal is on a number of threads esposing some interesting views

I would try and ignore

Marbleheadjohnson · 18/10/2016 16:59

I maintain that Mumsnet never made anyone leave their cunt of a husband.

'deemed too drunk to have consented even if she actually went home with him of her own will and uses her body to demonstrate that she wanted sex"

Is that what we were talking about? I suggest you look into the case in question.
But anyhow, debate doesn't go here and I'm sure you'll be banned before we can converse elsewhere. Shame.

PinkissimoAndPearls · 18/10/2016 16:53

Zefcal I don't think hex will come back to her thread whilst you're here spouting your goady hateful rape apologist crap.

As this is a support thread please could you just fuck off as you're not here to support in anyway? I know you like silencing women and victims but lots of us have asked you to just leave.

Hopefully MNHQ will ban them ASAP if not. Hex please ignore, I'm so sorry they have fucked your thread. The rest of us are still here to support you.
