Jen I agree with you. I'm sure he can do family man for a few years but being under Daddy Warbuck's cosh will take its toll. Men like Crud are grateful for only so long.

DeleteOrDecay · 22/10/2016 21:45

That sounds ridiculous Jen but I also would not be surprised if that were the case.

flippinada · 22/10/2016 21:42

I had a swift peek at Allison Pearson's twitter feed - there's several minutes of my life I'll never get back. I reckon that her opinion on just about anything can be safely disregarded.

JenLindleyShitMom · 22/10/2016 21:40

Maybe I'm being unfairly cynical but I always assumed the baby was deliberate to make Evans look like a family man and to give him a better chance of getting off. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was advised that they had a child.

Queenoftheblues · 22/10/2016 21:38

I feel sorry for tash. Her dad said most young inebriated men would do what Crud did. Plus dad gave Crud permission to attend the AP interview. Wow dad's very invested isn't he?

Marbleheadjohnson · 22/10/2016 21:06

Maxine Carr didn't believe her lovely boyfriend could do such a thing either. She's a deluded twat. God hope she doesn't have any daughters.

Queenoftheblues · 22/10/2016 20:59

I don't think she's really computed the cheating in her mind. She will never believe he didn't get consent, I understand that - no one can comprehend their partner, brother, son etc could rape. But the cheating seems to have flown over her head, she had a child with him at the first opportunity. Gotta pity her naïveté really.

badabing36 · 22/10/2016 20:47

Vera Baird, the former solicitor general, said it had put rape cases back 20 years. Natasha shakes her head. “If it’s a rape where some man’s just jumped on a woman in the street you’re not going to mention her sexual history because it’s got nothing to do with it. But in a case like Ched’s it did matter because it was to do with consent.”

That is why it is sending us back 20 years.

badabing36 · 22/10/2016 20:45

Oh my god that article:

For anyone who took an interest in the story, the question was not how two footballers could behave like that (um, they were footballers),

FannyCabbage · 22/10/2016 20:38

Why did I read that? What a load of fucking bollocks. Why are they trying to garner sympathy for her and him? They're not bloody victims. She'll be on Big Brother or Strictly or something soon.
I cannot cope if the media tries to make these out to be hardworking people who happened to go through a bad patch after a mistake but look at us now type of people.
Her father baffles me - how can he support Evans? Angry

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 22/10/2016 20:16

Contradiction in terms i belive that is called carrie

CarrieLouise25 · 22/10/2016 20:12

Reporters and moral - I'm not sure that's even possible in a sentence Grin

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 22/10/2016 20:11

AP..morals...hahahahaha

To misquote marble there

Noneedforasitter · 22/10/2016 20:09

It's outrageous that AP is reporting in a national newspaper where the victim is trying to make a new life for herself. Surely reporters have a moral responsibility beyond filling column inches.

Marbleheadjohnson · 22/10/2016 19:29

Renaissance Madonna. Hahaha.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 22/10/2016 19:25

I am not even sure who i am calling a twat there

Not you lass

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 22/10/2016 19:22

lass

Not going to read the article but REALLY!!!!

She is like jesus's mummy!!!!!

Twat

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 22/10/2016 19:12

That Allison Pearson interview is absolutely sick-making

Isn't it just?

Natasha appeared as unknowable as a Renaissance Madonna

Boak

Debinaround · 22/10/2016 15:47

She never turned up at the first trial. The police had to fetch her and bring her to court. I think she knew it wasn’t right.”

No she was quite rightly scared to death. Poor woman.

She’s got used to people winding down their car windows and shouting, “You ing mug, staying with a rapist.” But, this morning, a lady came up to her and said, “I think you’re amazing, well done.”

Aye course she did. Whatever you say Evens. Hmm

DeleteOrDecay · 22/10/2016 15:18

I rolled my eyes at the 'big softy' part, and how she harped on about how he just wasn't capable of rape. She is deluded.

Debinaround · 22/10/2016 14:41

She's deluded if she thinks he is never going to cheat on her again. Daft cow.

flippinada · 22/10/2016 14:19

Yes, she is.

That Allison Pearson interview is absolutely sick-making.

JenLindleyShitMom · 22/10/2016 14:12

She is responsible for her own behaviour though which included trying to bribe a witness in the trial.

flippinada · 22/10/2016 14:09

Didn't Allison Pearson come out in support of Evans some time ago?

I feel a bit sorry for her too (Ms Massey, not Ms Pearson). She's done some very questionable things but she didn't rape anyone and isn't responsible for her horrible fiance's behaviour. Pure speculation but I don't think she had the greatest male role model growing up.

That said, I have far more sympathy for the victim in all of this who has had her life destroyed by these awful people.

OlennasWimple · 22/10/2016 13:59

Is the Mirror article drawn from her interview with Allison Pearson?

In a strange way, Tash bring out my maternal side: I want to sweep her up, remove her from her vile dad (who told her that CE should attend the interview too - why? Isn't she allowed to speak for her self??), give her head a wobble, introduce her to the basic tenets of feminism and show her what a healthy, respectful relationship looks like. Sad
