Oh my god...why is this being dragged up again..that poor woman...I'm surprised she's not done something stupid under all this pressure...why can't he be a man about it.accept he did wrong and leave the woman in peace to rebuild her life...he is a scumbag

cadnowyllt · 04/10/2016 20:09

Toads - I don't know, its pure speculation. But what else could it be, other than evidence that she wasn't too drunk to remember. But not long now - she takes the stand tomorrow.

Tbh I thought that would be the most obvious possibility.

But how do you know this cad?

morrythou · 04/10/2016 20:02

nice unbiased headline from the beeb there

BarbarianMum · 04/10/2016 19:59

Liney same here. It seemed pretty clear cut to me previously.

cadnowyllt · 04/10/2016 19:59

Yes

ToadsJustFellFromTheSky · 04/10/2016 19:59

What Toads just said

My post at 19:55?

ToadsJustFellFromTheSky · 04/10/2016 19:58

think the unthinkable.

Confused
cadnowyllt · 04/10/2016 19:58

What Toads just said

ToadsJustFellFromTheSky · 04/10/2016 19:57

But it was still his own testimony which got him convicted originally...

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 04/10/2016 19:57

I cant see how it can change either liney

FreshwaterSelkie · 04/10/2016 19:56

Oh, go on then, I'll bite, cadnow.

What unthinkable thing should we be thinking? Do tell. Enlighten us.

Liney - think the unthinkable.

LineyReborn · 04/10/2016 19:43

I am genuinely interested in what the new evidence is, given that so very few cases are referred back like this. I just can't see how the consent evidence - which is surely what the fuck this was all about - can change?

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 04/10/2016 19:37

Nope

FreshwaterSelkie · 04/10/2016 19:25

Oh dear. What a depressing prospect. There's nothing good going to come out of this, is there?

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 04/10/2016 18:47

It can take ages for the jurers to even sit down Smile

SomeDyke · 04/10/2016 18:45

I think we'll just have to wait until it is presented at the trial. Only day one!

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 04/10/2016 18:44

The trial is supposed to take about two weeks

I am curious as to the new evidence as well

LineyReborn · 04/10/2016 18:09

So what's the new evidence that led to the appeal being granted?

SomeDyke · 04/10/2016 18:04

The retrial at Cardiff Crown Court has started:
