Last few posts from Part 1;

Some of her aims:

Gender neutral sex ed
Women in leadership making room for transwomen (because you know how many women are in leadership roles)
BUS accepting transwomen to compete as women in sports

4th if Anna and Sarah were TRUELY allies of women then they would seek to address the concerns that women are expressing in reasoned tones, over and over and over again in varies forums

Instead, they held an emergency meeting (this is before my poutburst) and decided the beast course of action was not to respond to women

How can you consider that approach to be the action of people that understand women, align with women, want to advocate for women????

Think of it as a personal relationship. Your lover or friend is expected to support and care for you. The person is acting in a way that you feel is not in your best interests. You attempt to start a conversation with your friend/lover to discuss this. They totally blank you and refuse to acknowledge that you even spoke

How do yuou feel about that person? Are they your friend?

Taking the analogy further...you get frustrated that you are being silenced and your concerns ignored and have a short aggressive outburst

NOW that person is listening to you. Telling everyone how violent and scary you are. Using this as an excuse for never having to listen to you again...a reason noone should take your opinion seriously...

How do you feel about that person now? That's an abusive narcissist personality type

They know you aren't threatening them. Your post was clearly making a point about the difference between criticism and concern versus threatening and harassment. The latter is what women are subjected to every day by trans activists. The former is what Lee and Noble have been busy deleting and dismissing as 'bigotry'. They've chosen to misrepresent posts here and elsewhere in order to play act like they believe a bunch of women posting on mumsnet are actually any sort of physical threat to them, two good sized males with plenty of media backing - it's farcical, we all know it is.

4th - so why wouldn't you support a man in the role of NUS Womans Officer ?

If having experience is not relevant to the role, then what is the difference between a trans-woman and a man in fighting for the Annafesto?

"If this is the future of feminism, then I haven't got much hope for it"

My DD countered my similar comment last night by saying that the same attitude was prevalent when slavery was abolished Confused

MamaMary · 27/02/2016 10:02

He's not living like a woman though is he.

He's a man who fancies women and, if sexually active, is having sex with women.

SamanthaBrique · 27/02/2016 09:53

Oh I know. It's a sad day when MNHQ goes the same way as the Guardian moderators.

Snowshimmer · 27/02/2016 09:51

And you could get your comment deleted for saying that, Samantha.

How can a man live as a woman if they do not even look like one? People would treat them differently if they at least blended in and looked like an ordinary woman. Anna only has the experience of living as a blatantly male trans woman.

Maryz my DD made the same point.
She said that the word 'woman' has become interchangeable with the word 'female' - yet they mean different things. Woman refers to gender, female refers to biology.

If we relabel "woman's safe spaces" as "female safe spaces" (female toilets, female refuge, female rape crisis centre) then they will remain free of self-identifying women.

VincentVanLowe · 27/02/2016 08:43

I think a 'lolcow' is someone who lives a very public 'alternative' lifestyle and is guaranteed to kick up a big public drama given the slightest opportunity, usually claiming they are being victimised. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. They are people who feed on attention, and the people calling them 'lolcows' give it to them to feed off their reactions. It's a very weird situation all round.

Snowshimmer · 27/02/2016 08:11

"Encyclopedia dramatica" is an old and infamous site for internet bullies. It's best left alone. Or for educational material of how nasty some people can be.

Hennifer · 27/02/2016 07:25

There are a few fake-wiki sites out there

'rational wiki' has a particularly prejudiced and crappy page about transgender and terfs

I saw it the other day but unsurprisingly didn't bookmark.

Who writes this bollocks, i nthe same style and font as wiki, and gets away with it?

VinceNoirLovesHowardMoon · 27/02/2016 06:41

That wiki page made very little sense to me.

I wish I knew what was going on sometimes...

That page is disturbing.

Cellardoor1 · 27/02/2016 00:58

Shortcut I just skimmed down that page, wtf?! Disturbing. Some people take the internet way too seriously

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 27/02/2016 00:53

I have a massive MN crush on HLC - embarrassing but true. I also think that most 4th wavers must be doing the psychological equivalent of sticking their fingers in their ears and going "la la la I can't hear you" whenever they insist that Anna is a woman. Got to admire the mental gymnastics that'll be going into that one.

ShortcutButton · 27/02/2016 00:36

Here you go will

encyclopediadramatica.se/Sceptre

Confused
WilLiAmHerschel · 27/02/2016 00:21

Shortcut what link do you mean? Sorry but I'm very nosey.

emwithme · 26/02/2016 23:37

Transwomen keep going on about how they "feel like a woman". I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what this is other than a bloody Shania Twain song but why should I expect an answer from people who think that lady-brain is an actual thing and who don't understand the difference between sex (a biological fact) and gender (a bullshit sociological concept that differs over time and location)

PosieReturningParker · 26/02/2016 23:18

Hardly any normal women (as in run of the mill) think that transwomen are women, I couldn't give a shite what the equalities commission say.

Amnesty said they support sex work being decriminalised completely.... Despite the fact that trafficking goes up where it's decriminalised

These lobbies are powerful aren't they and god awful.

PosieReturningParker · 26/02/2016 23:13

I'm going to be annoying and Mark my place as I'm away with a shite internet connection

PrettyBrightFireflies · 26/02/2016 22:56

The fact that Sarah is being personally targeted by the bottom-feeders of the Internet, yet is also being quoted in the mainstream, broadsheet media, is quite an achievement!
I've scan read that article shortcut - it's not pleasant; I wonder how Will, and subsequently, Sarah, came to the attention of such people in the first place?

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 26/02/2016 22:55

Oh i see it now. Shock

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 26/02/2016 22:51

???
What? Where?

ShortcutButton · 26/02/2016 22:47

Im out. Noble is not a person, and that is not a world I want ANY connection to
