Last few posts from Part 1;
sieReturningParker

Some of her aims:

Gender neutral sex ed
Women in leadership making room for transwomen (because you know how many women are in leadership roles)
BUS accepting transwomen to compete as women in sports

4th if Anna and Sarah were TRUELY allies of women then they would seek to address the concerns that women are expressing in reasoned tones, over and over and over again in varies forums

Instead, they held an emergency meeting (this is before my poutburst) and decided the beast course of action was not to respond to women

How can you consider that approach to be the action of people that understand women, align with women, want to advocate for women????

Think of it as a personal relationship. Your lover or friend is expected to support and care for you. The person is acting in a way that you feel is not in your best interests. You attempt to start a conversation with your friend/lover to discuss this. They totally blank you and refuse to acknowledge that you even spoke

How do yuou feel about that person? Are they your friend?

Taking the analogy further...you get frustrated that you are being silenced and your concerns ignored and have a short aggressive outburst

NOW that person is listening to you. Telling everyone how violent and scary you are. Using this as an excuse for never having to listen to you again...a reason noone should take your opinion seriously...

How do you feel about that person now? That's an abusive narcissist personality type

They know you aren't threatening them. Your post was clearly making a point about the difference between criticism and concern versus threatening and harassment. The latter is what women are subjected to every day by trans activists. The former is what Lee and Noble have been busy deleting and dismissing as 'bigotry'. They've chosen to misrepresent posts here and elsewhere in order to play act like they believe a bunch of women posting on mumsnet are actually any sort of physical threat to them, two good sized males with plenty of media backing - it's farcical, we all know it is.

4th - so why wouldn't you support a man in the role of NUS Womans Officer ?

If having experience is not relevant to the role, then what is the difference between a trans-woman and a man in fighting for the Annafesto?

OP posts:
OhShutUpThomas · 27/02/2016 21:48

I have literally NEVER seen a woman talking about trans people like this. NEVER.

It's fairly common to see this misogynistic shite though. It's always allowed to stand too.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 27/02/2016 21:45

And thoughtful gender critical comments are censored but that is allowed to stand...

These publications are really trying to put us in our place, aren't they?

QueenLaBeefah · 27/02/2016 21:44

Such feminine language. Said just like a true woman. (Or a spoilt man having a temper tantrum - often difficult to distinguish between the two).

OhShutUpThomas · 27/02/2016 21:41

The first comment under the article about Lee on pinknews -

More of a woman than these transphobic 'feminist' asholes. Fck you all for being horrible human beings. Humans like you are the sht stains of the earth. Bring everyone down, poisoning, choking everyone with your disgusting toxic miasma of bitterness, spitefulness and worthlessness. Women don't fcking need you. Humans don't fcking need you. There are so many people living in misery and you fcking ADD to it. I hate you all. Every last one.

.....but yeah, THEY are the ones on the receiving end of the abuse.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry tbh.

SirVixofVixHall · 27/02/2016 21:39

The arrogance of a man who thinks that lesbians will fancy him just because he's put on a lady-frock would be hilarious if it wasn't all so utterly shit for women.

VinceNoirLovesHowardMoon · 27/02/2016 21:38

I live as a woman every day. What that looks like is that I look after my child (bloke can do that) drive to work (bloke can do that) come home and cook dinner (bloke can do that) see friends at weekends (bloke etc)
The only thing I do that is different to men is wear dresses and makeup. And yes, a bloke can also do that.

QueenLaBeefah · 27/02/2016 21:36

This got voted in because Maria Miller is a total idiot.

VincentVanLowe · 27/02/2016 21:28

"how did this get voted in?"

Under the radar, by trans lobbyists lying through the skin of their teeth and no one with any actual power at all giving enough of a crap to check the facts or ask what the consequences might be for women and girls. Radical feminists have been raising the alarm for years but men (in skirts or trousers) called us TERF manhater scum so that was that, bobs your auntie and needs you to share your private spaces with his ladycock, so shove over, bches. It has been so simple for them that I wonder at their nerve when they claim they've had a hard ride of it.

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 27/02/2016 21:27

Yep. Theyre being co-opted just like the intersex people.

So I expect the next thing will be boards of directors filling their 30% female quote with men in skirts.

SirVixofVixHall · 27/02/2016 21:16

Vince- the "has been living as a woman for the past 6 years" thing ,that really gets to me. What does that even mean? "living as a woman". We are mostly women on this thread, and we all live our lives in all kinds of ways. How is it that a man can just decide that he is "living like a woman". What does he imagine a woman's life contains, that his life as a man who likes wearing feminine things, doesn't? It is just so strange. I think that women have been so accepting of this, far more than men, so instead of someone like him feeling he needs to assert his right as a man to wear what the hell he likes, instead he insists that he is a woman.
And the fact stated there that we've had self idenification since 2010?! I had no idea, how did this get voted in?

Iamwhateveryousayiam · 27/02/2016 21:13

I used to think that trans allies must all be incredibly stupid; to not get this

But obviously a lot are clearly not stupid. Some are clearly deluded. But some I don't think are. Particularly politicians. I'm really weary over what the motivation is. Is it for political (whatever level) power and gain...there's a lot of potential isn't there for 'making a difference'

Disclaimer: I know there are trans people who have actual dysphoria and some who are gender critical. These are not included in my suspicion

Mary maybe if we all starting wearing no clothes, it might help their understanding? Grin

Iamwhateveryousayiam · 27/02/2016 21:04

Alex, is still feminine though despite the beard

They also claim gender/feminine to be an internal feeling

Soooo...you wouldn't even need to display it. Just feel it. Inside, like. Inside where I wonder?? Confused

Iamwhateveryousayiam · 27/02/2016 21:01

No Mary feminine is not an essential part of being a woman. You and I are in agreance. However, trans woman think that being femiminine makes them women. They believe that is the 'essence' of woman

I'd really really like to hear what they truthfully think of masculine/androgynous/non-feminine women. But that ain't gonna happen

Hennifer · 27/02/2016 21:00

I don't think anyone at all should be allowed to define themselves as female/a woman without being required to define what a woman actually is.

I haven't seen anyone from the trans campaign actually attempt to do this yet.

Until they can satisfactorily do that, then I cannot take them seriously. And I don't see why I should.

"Transwomen seem to think that being feminine is an essential part of being a woman"

Not All! Plenty of 'butch trans women' about these days, 'widening the bandwidth of what it means to be a woman' by keeping their beards etc. www.buzzfeed.com/patrickstrudwick/this-transgender-woman-has-a-full-beard-and-she-couldnt-be-h#.bgRV8Ybm2

I don't understand what definition of 'woman' is being used then? If it's anybody who feels like one then I don't think I qualify.

The sad thing is that this is all a big fat lie. They still use biological facts to oppress women. They just don't admit it anymore, and use that gender nonsense to take any and all protections away from women.

If identifying as male could get me out of all patriarchal oppression, including sexual harassment and the lack of legal abortions and so on, I'd do it. But no one really believes that works, do we?

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 27/02/2016 20:22

Balls, wrong thread! Still relevant though Grin
