Anyone who won't take no for an answer about what someone takes into their body is a boundary pushing nincompoop, UN.

And, in certain contexts, a rapist.

UndecidedNow · 15/03/2015 17:05

Well actually I know a lot of people who would tell you 'but you like tea last night/two months ago and I bought it especially for you!' And wouldn't take no for an answer.

Thought I'd take time to post a link to We believe you as newbies may not have seen.
Thanks again and peace and love, eh?

PuffinsAreFictitious · 15/03/2015 16:52

Oh Olivia!

This one wants us to be mean to it. Honest. If it didn't want us to play with it, it wouldn't still be posting.

AKnickerfulOfMenace · 15/03/2015 16:45

Marmalade vodka, Olivia?

Sorry you've drawn the short Mothering Sunday straw...

PeaceOfWildThings · 15/03/2015 16:43

May I offer you a naice cup of tea black coffee glass of gin, Olivia? Smile

(Sorry)

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 15/03/2015 16:41

AHEM

StillLostAtTheStation · 15/03/2015 16:39

Oh and you can trot off with the "my reputation is ruined" bullocks. There is so much more to whether anyone man or women is a good and decent person than that.

PeaceOfWildThings · 15/03/2015 16:36

If you don't slut shame, wuzzio, why bring up the 'reputation' of #2? It is totally irrelevant.

PuffinsAreFictitious · 15/03/2015 16:36

ah, how we love the expression 'cried rape'

Oh, sorry, no, we hate that expression, men who want to make sure they and their pals can rape with impunity love it, yes, that's right.

You're not even an interesting troll, are you?

PacificDogwood · 15/03/2015 16:36
Grin

This fred needs levity.

AKnickerfulOfMenace · 15/03/2015 16:35

IMO I think you have your own gender to blame for "slut shaming"

You are wrong. Oh, and you mean "your own sex", not "your own gender".

wuzzio · 15/03/2015 16:35

"Wrt what you are implying (women shout rape and ruin innocent men lives) "

So do you agree if woman in scenario #2 cried rape it would be a false accusation of rape?

PeaceOfWildThings · 15/03/2015 16:34

That's my brew by the way, wuzzio. You can FO and make your own.

StillLostAtTheStation · 15/03/2015 16:34

I was in my youth occasionally an over-enthusiastic drinker of tea served by tea-makers who in the cold light of day were considerably less attractive than in the soft haze of the tea house candles.

In the cold light of day the last thing I did would have been to draw attention to it from critical friends (theoretical friends as my real friends were not so petty and judgemental) by claiming I'd been forced to drink tea.

Tea-drinkers, even novice tea drinkers, can tell the difference between an unfortunate error of judgement and being force fed tea.

PuffinsAreFictitious · 15/03/2015 16:34

wuzzio... unlike you, we're all pretty intelligent. It's already been explained to you that your stupid scenario doesn't happen or at least, if it does, the instance is vanishingly small, and those women tend to get given harsher sentences than the man would if he'd actually raped her, not that you give a shit, because all you're interested in is continuing rape culture, because.... well, draw your own conclusions . Do try to keep up, people have been using small words and everything for you.

wuzzio · 15/03/2015 16:33

"You want to bring slut shaming to a femist board now?"

I don't "shame" women who sleep around a lot. I really don't care how many men a woman wants to have sex with.

IMO I think you have your own gender to blame for "slut shaming"

PeaceOfWildThings · 15/03/2015 16:33

Reputation has nothing to do with it. And your 'case' has nothing to do with consent.

If both people happily consented to drink tea, it was not rape. End of.

PeaceOfWildThings · 15/03/2015 16:30

You want to bring slut shaming to a femist board now?

Brew
wuzzio · 15/03/2015 16:28

And the women in my scenarios are all sober.
