This is partly in response to a feminist activist who tweeted that "Rachel Hewitt thinks like a rapist" (Rachel Hewitt being the woman who wrote an article for the New Statesman saying that female-only spaces had helped her cope with the trauma of rape) twitter.com/stavvers/status/570246367140036608

So pleased her blog is back! Thoughts on this article?

Archery yes, I find Stavvers talking about her hands shaking, vomiting etc. in response to being asked to apologise by Rape Crisis South London very strange. It seems like she sincerely feels like this - is it just narcissism, do you think?

That's an excellent article, and I am so happy Glossy is back.

On stavvers - she jumped the shark as a credible activist a long time ago, and is now organising shark-jumping rodeos amongst her acolytes. Only she has trauma, and boundaries that need to be respected, and feelings. Only her needs as a survivor should be considered. She attacks everyone then plays the victim (of the people she attacked), then of anyone calls her out on it she says her "status as a survivor" is being used against her. Nope, it's her status as an asshole that is being used against her.

I thought this on twitter had got the mood pretty well of how very badly she behaved towards someone disclosing their rape:

"when you're a crisis centre receiving support from TERFs its time to consider what msg that sends to transwomen"?? Oh dear. Deary dear. A necessary msg that rape victims should not have "female" (lol) penises forced on them anywhere near too? Good on you that centre.

No... to be honest, her whole attitude at the moment is weird. So intent is she on pleasing the usual suspects, that she's forgotten who her sisters are....

Puffins - I know right. Have you read Stavvers' blog post on it? Not really sure what to think about it, her response is quite odd IMO.
